JOIE DE VIVRE

Joie de Vivre (ou "Joie de vivre") est une expression française souvent utilisée en anglais pour exprimer un plaisir joyeux de la vie; une exultation d'esprit. C'est ce que nous ressentons à propos du Lookout au lac Chelan et de notre maison.

Joie de Vivre, achevĂ©e en 2016, est un spacieux trois Ă©tages de 3 095 mÂČ. maison avec quatre chambres et quatre salles de bain complĂštes avec une vue imprenable sur le lac Chelan de nos deux terrasses et patio au bord du lac. La fenĂȘtre originale de la chambre Ă  coucher du troisiĂšme Ă©tage a Ă©tĂ© changĂ©e en une grande terrasse pour que les clients puissent profiter d'une vue plus globale tout en prenant un bain de soleil, en sortant ou en regardant les Ă©toiles. Nous pensons que la vue est Ă  couper le souffle du troisiĂšme Ă©tage et nous sommes tous d’accord pour dire que c’est notre partie prĂ©fĂ©rĂ©e de la maison.

Le plan d'étage inversé a le maßtre et salon / salle à manger / cuisine au deuxiÚme étage pour profiter des vues imprenables tout en cuisinant, en regardant la télévision, ou tout simplement se détendre au coin du feu de gaz. Il y a plusieurs peupliers majestueux qui filtrent la vue pendant les mois d'été, néanmoins, je pense que vous conviendrez tous que les vues sont toujours incroyables et qu'il est relaxant de regarder les arbres se balancer à l'unisson avec le vent .

La table de salle Ă  manger peut accueillir 10 personnes avec six chaises et un banc complet. La table et le banc ont Ă©tĂ© fabriquĂ©s sur mesure Ă  Portland et utilisent du bois recyclĂ© provenant de l'hĂŽpital d'État de l'Oregon Ă  Salem (pensez Ă  l'endroit oĂč ils ont filmĂ© "Vol au-dessus d'un nid de coucou"). Il y a quatre chaises de bar le long du bar de l'Ăźle pour fournir des siĂšges supplĂ©mentaires.

Tout en gardant à l'esprit le confort et le plaisir des clients, nous avons également modifié le premier étage en éliminant l'une des chambres et en créant une plus grande salle multimédia. Cet espace comprend des appareils électroniques (65 "HDTV, X-Box One et une bibliothÚque de DVD), une table de billard en ardoise de 8 pieds, un assortiment de jeux et de puzzles et deux jeux de portes coulissantes donnant sur un joli patio et une petite cour avec vue imprenable sur le lac. Le premier étage dispose également d'une chambre avec lits superposés pour les enfants de cinq personnes.

La communauté Lookout se développe et il peut y avoir des activités de construction pendant votre séjour. Les heures de construction varient selon la saison, mais se situent entre 7h00 et 17h00. m. - 6h00 p. m. en semaine et 8h00 a. m. - 16h30 m. les weekends. S'il vous plaßt contacter Lookout Cottage Rentals à toutes les questions ou préoccupations. Note: Il n'y aura pas de construction le week-end pendant les mois d'été.

Great place for a family vacation

The house was great for the entire family. Plenty of space and very well appointed and stocked. The neighborhood has many activities and The Lookout property managers have everything running very smoothly. We really enjoyed everything.

Great location - walking distance to Vin de Luc, and a short drive to downtown!

We stayed during Winterfest, and loved the spaciousness of this house for 8 people. Also, the hot tub and S'mores station were right across the street! :) We will keep this house in mind for future trips!

Excellent, however the TV was a disappointment. No instructions on how to access net flix, or other entertainment channels. If net flix was not available to us, then that is a disappointment. Kitchen cooking equipment, great. Cut those damn trees down, what a terrible waste.

We did have a fire alarm go off in the middle of the night. Just so you can get it fixed. It was the room upstairs on the north side. We also had some trouble keeping the refrigerator door on the right closing.Other than that the house was in perfect condition.

Overall, we loved this house - very comfortable and useful living room sectional; patio and porchs/balconies were great; very dog friendly and dog safe (even though these dog owners left their dogs at home). Improvement suggestions: (1) repair sink fixtures in upstairs bathroom with the queen bed; (2) repair front gate latch which doesn't work; (3) add more hooks in bathrooms to hang clothes; (4) repair ice maker which drops ice into unsanitary bottom of fridge instead of in the ice tray. The house was supposed to be ready at 4pm, but we didn't get access to the house until 5:30 while cleaning was finished from the previous tenants. We were going to rebook a house for next summer but your prices have gone up so much that we will probably look for other alternatives, sadly. Your 2022 prices were already increased considerably from your 2021 prices.

Layout of the house mostly worked - would be better once the grandkids are older and blocking stairs no longer needed. House location near beach and upper pool was great. Amenities - beach, pools and open play spaces were great. There was no need to venture off the property. Management communication of daily activities was very helpful and all the staff were well trained and very friendly.

The location was convenient to the wedding venue, Chelan, and local walking trails. We utilized the Lookout hot tub and pickleball courts. There were bicycles available in the garage but no helmets, therefore the guest mostly likely to ride wouldn't because of a previous bike accident.

We were expecting to see the lake (why we chose the house we did) and instead found no lake view due to the trees that had grown up tall, blocking the lake view. False advertising is VERY disappointing. Also, the fridge doors need some work, they kept popping open. With that said, we did enjoy our time there, the house had a great layout for our group and it was clean and tidy. I would recommend this location to others but I also recommend that the pictures be updated!

Great size so everyone is comfortable, great location to the pool and beach. We love the outdoor space for dinners at night. We only wish they had better pans - please get at least a pasta pot so we can make mac and cheese for the kids.
