Profitez d'un sĂ©jour de style complexe dans cette charmante mais spacieuse maison historique de 2 Ă©tages sur 2 000 pieds carrĂ©s au cƓur du quartier branchĂ© et piĂ©tonnier de North Chattanooga. Avec toutes les commoditĂ©s de la maison, vous ne voudrez peut-ĂȘtre pas partir, mais si vous faites des cafĂ©s / restaurants Frazier Ave et le pont piĂ©tonnier Walnut Street sont Ă  8 pĂątĂ©s de maisons de la ville.

Construit en 1920, Cottage Cottage conserve son charme d'origine mais a récemment subi une rénovation majeure pour inclure une grande cuisine mise à jour. Un immense pont récemment construit avec un grand foyer au gaz est perché au-dessus de la rue et offre une vue agréable sur le quartier vallonné et unique environnant.

AprÚs votre retour du dßner sur l'avenue Frazier, vous et votre famille pouvez vous détendre dans une chaise Adirondack et siroter du vin, en vous réchauffant prÚs du foyer au gaz. Si vous préférez tous la lueur chaude et le crépitement d'un feu de bois, il y a un deuxiÚme foyer sur le patio en brique ci-dessous. This older home had plenty of charm. It has a modernized kitchen and the bedrooms are small but quaint. The living room and sunroom at the front of the house are cute, but the sofa furniture is dated and lumpy. The bed we slept in was comfy. No chairs in the bedrooms. The upstairs bathroom is one of two with the 2nd being inside one of the bedrooms (and harder to share with larger groups). It's in a nice neighborhood with other similarly built homes and the streets are hilly. It's very close to popular dining options like Basecamp and Aretha Frankenstein's.

We came for a quick family vacation. This house was fantastic. We had plenty of room for 6 adults and 2 children. The check in and out was so easy. Very clear instructions to the house. Our favorite place was the fire pit and the kitchen. The location was great. It was close to everything we wanted to do. We will definitely visit again. Thanks for the well needed family vacation!

This is a great space. We loved the architecture of the home. This trip was to see my granddaughter get married. The house was close enough to be able to get to the venue and far enough not to have the city noise. The only concern was no locks on bedroom doors, and the bedroom next to the deck needs curtains or something, because you could see into the room like there was nothing there from the deck.

Convenient location, comfortable, cool house nicely renovated. Stayed with family including two 3-yr olds, and it worked out well. I would say for younger toddlers be careful with the stairs.

Strange layout for adults with no bathroom downstairs, the only bathroom was in a bedroom. There was a fire in one of the receptacle in the kitchen. It wasn’t very clean. Uncomfortable furniture in living room. Acorns on unstable back deck. Missing lightbulbs throughout the house. Spotty WiFi. Difficulty reaching the owner.

Good Location

Property was clean and spacious. The weekend we were there we noticed a few things that the owner could have addressed. There was water standing the basement which made the property smell of mold on the inside. The front sitting room with tile we had fleas just on us and bite us. Owner should have had someone do a quick check and clean of the sidewalks and back decking. Tree debris everywhere.

Home-warmingly Heroic

There are few joys in this world that I treasure more than the experience of an outdoor Hot Tub in the snow. For that, we couldn't have picked a better weekend. One afternoon, it was so invitingly-relaxing, I was almost late for the show, the entire reason that we were in town, The Floating Men (only their 2nd show after almost 15 years without a performance). I was also impressed by the scenery, many native plants surrounding the property as well as hardscape additions, all of which provided a magnificent backdrop for myriad birds moving through the neighborhood. It's amazing how a metro area as big as Chattaboogie can still feel like the middle of nowhere.As it was near freezing for much of the weekend, I did spend a little time inside, too. A local came to visit, remembering the house pre-remodel, as she was as impressed as we were, with all of the updates. The additions were well done, in a way that conveyed both an appreciation of the history of the structure as well as the need for safety improvements. Due to weather, and such, half of my crew didn't make the trip, but the spacious home was enjoyed none-the-less. The only difficultly was deciding which bedrooms to choose, since we few had a huge space all to ourselves.The heroism came afterwards. When we departed, we accidentally forgot a bag at the house, a pretty significant one, with all of our medications. The owner was kind enough to immediately retrieve and coordinated to help get it returned, quickly.

Poor communication

We rented the property for 1 night. Traveled with an infant and arrived 20 min early. Was able to enter the home but only to find that the property had not been cleaned yet from the prior renters. Called the contact and was told that because their animal had passed away and they were in the midddle of cremation, to leave and come back in a couple of hours and that housekeeping would call and let us know when it was ready. Never received a call to inform the rental was ready, but when we return it had been slightly cleaned. Gatorade bottles and wrappers and food in sink remained. Tried to make contact even after we left the next day but still no response. There was not any discount offered for our inconvenience either.

CONVENIENT!

Great communication. Property is big enough if you need blow upbeds, etc for extra guest. kitchen is large enough for everyone to pitch in. Didn't use hot tub as it was raining our whole stay. On the corner so you can use both sides to park. Just minutes from everything downtown.

Good location

Very disappointed in the shower upstairs didn’t drain right. The toilet downstairs rocks and very tiny!! The couch springs would pop out and was very uncomfortable!! Plus front door lock didn’t always line up right to lock. Basement door wouldn’t stay closed even with lock. Had to put a chair in front.

Almost Perfect

It was not great that the thermostat had been turned completely off when we checked in after dark. The house was so cold! Luckily our plan was to leave immediately for dinner, so we found the house closer to being tolerable when we returned several hours later. Otherwise, a home run! great neighborhood, charming house, nice amenities.
