The Space:

Riverview Inn blends boutique charm with a laid-back mountain spirit. Nine uniquely designed rooms and one suite line the north side of Lookout Mountain, each with its own private balcony overlooking the Tennessee River Valley. YOUR ROOM

The King Suite is the largest room at Riverview Inn — built for families and small groups. A plush king bed and twin daybed with trundle comfortably sleep up to four. You'll also have a microwave, mini fridge, walk-in tiled shower stocked with toiletries, and a bistro dining table. Complimentary guest laundry is available on-site — a lifesaver for families on the go. Step through the French doors onto your private balcony and take in the views.



SKYBOX LOUNGE

Start your morning with our complimentary hot breakfast, served daily from 8:30–10:00 AM. Think golden waffles, fluffy scrambled eggs, seasonal fruit, and rotating daily specials. There’s a lot happening in and around Lookout Mountain this summer. Rock City is running a season-long America 250 celebration featuring new art installations, mountaintop music, and Americana-themed events. The new Erlanger Park is only minutes away, where the Chattanooga Lookouts are playing their inaugural season with themed nights, fireworks, and live music all summer. Free concerts downtown run every Friday night at Nightfall in Miller Plaza through July 31, and every Saturday at Riverfront Nights at Ross’s Landing through September 5. Riverview Inn is a perfect home base for all this summer fun!



Getting Around:

We recommend having a car during your stay — each unit is allotted one parking spot, with additional parking available on a first-come, first-served basis. Uber, Lyft, and local taxis are available in the Chattanooga area, though availability is limited on the mountain.

Once you're in downtown Chattanooga, street and public lot parking is reasonably priced. The free electric shuttle runs between the Choo Choo and the Tennessee Aquarium with stops every block — check CARTA's website for current schedules. And for the adventurous, Bike Chattanooga offers bike and e-bike rentals at 42 self-service kiosks around downtown.



Other Things to Note:

PET POLICY:

We love furry adventurers! This property is pet-friendly and welcomes up to 2 dogs (50 lbs or under each). Breed restrictions and pet fees do apply — you'll find the full details in our house rules. We just ask that all pups be on their best behavior!



DEPOSITS:

Guests under 21 or those local to the Greater Chattanooga area will have a $200 refundable deposit applied after booking confirmation. As long as your stay follows our house rules — including our policy on registered guests and private gatherings — your deposit will be returned in full. Easy as that.



NO SMOKING:

To keep things fresh for every guest, all Timberroot properties are smoke-free indoors. This includes cigarettes, vapes, and e-cigarettes. A designated smoking area is located at the gazebo to the left of the café (coming soon). Please refer to your rental agreement for full details, including any fees associated with this policy.



SURVEILLANCE CAMERAS:

There are no surveillance cameras on this property.



CHECK-IN/OUT:

Check-in begins at 4:00 pm on the day of your arrival and check-out is at 11:00 am on your last day. Please contact Guest Services if you would like to request a different arrangement.



Interaction with Guests:

Riverview Inn offers a self-guided experience — no innkeeper, no front desk, just a seamless stay. Shortly after booking, you'll receive a digital boarding pass with everything you need, and your keyless entry details will appear as check-in approaches.

While there's no dedicated on-site host, you'll often find staff around the property. Need extra help? Our Guest Services team is available daily from 8:00 AM to 11:30 PM and is just a phone call away.
