Guests are responsible for firewood, and anything needed for the grill. We provide all linens, but make sure to pack your favorite pool towels for the lake.
Since the property is on the lake, around here that means well water. Although we have top notch water filtration systems in place, you can`t get around the hard water!

We are just a quick message away if you need anything. As 29x Superhosts, we try hard to get it right.

SAFETY DEVICES:
Exterior security cameras present: We have one security camera at the front door, one at the driveway, one at the fire pit, and one at the boat doak. These will be on during your stay and are for your safety and ours.

Noise decibel monitor present: There is a noise monitoring device indoors which actively records noise decibel levels. It does not record audio or video.

***EARLY CHECK-IN AND LATE CHECK-OUT REQUESTS***
We allow early check-in and late check-out at our unit upon request.
This will depend on the property and the cleaner`s availability.
We implement an early check-in fee and a late check-out fee.

***Check-Out Time & Late Departure Policy***
Standard check-out time is 11:00 AM, unless otherwise agreed upon in writing by the Host. Unauthorized late check-outs will incur an additional fee of $50 per hour and charged at the top of each hour thereafter (e.g., checking out at 12:10 PM will result in a $100 fee). This fee covers delays with cleaning staff and turnover schedules. Guests are urged to check out on time to avoid any additional fees. **If Guests would like to see if our cleaners are able to accommodate a late check-out, the LATE CHECK-OUT REQUESTS must be made 24 HOURS in advance.**

We provide starter supplies, enough for 3-4 day stays. It will be up to the guest to replenish those supplies for extended stays.

**Please note that as part of the reservation booking process, we ask guests to visit a link to e-sign a rental agreement. In NC, written rental agreements are required to be compliant with the NC Vacation Rental Act. We include them as best practice for our listings in SC. There is also a link to a quick Point of Contact form which is required for Vrbo reservations.

Trust & Safety:
*As part of our effort to help you relax and enjoy your stay, we insure the property against guest-caused, accidental damage with the Safely Protection Policy. The cost of this protection has been included in a Trust and Safety Fee or your rental rate.

The Safely Protection Policy covers the cost of repairing damage to the property up to $3,000 for content and $3,000 for dwelling. The fee for this protection is refundable if the reservation is canceled in writing at least twenty-four (24) hours prior to the arrival date. Any deductible, minimum claim amount, or cost of repair in excess of the coverage limits will be the responsibility of the Guest, and Everlong Residential will process the payment using the form of payment on file for the Guest. Additional information about the Safely Protection Policy will be provided upon request.*

Great Location but not as advertised

Property needs a refresh, general maintenance and upkeep. Ants all over the kitchen, broken blinds, holes in the wall where a curtain rod once hung. Refrigerator was dirty, vents are rusty, paint is peeling from the ceiling, and the main bathroom has what looks like a tub and faucet from the 1970s. The outside of the house needs to be power washed to get rid of the hundreds of spiders that then migrate inside. The dock has boards that are severely warped and pulling up. We will not be returning to this property as the price point is way too high for what you get.

Nice location but still needs some work

It was a nice location, and I would stay here again, but for the price, they definitely need to make some improvements. The age and condition of the house was definitely visible when looking around and we saw several things like the door on the back porch that needed to be replaced and was being held together by pieces of wood like makeshift patch's. It worked fine for me and my friends that stayed there because it was just a couple of guys hanging out for a weekend, but if this was somewhere I would have taken my family, I probably would have been a little pissed off at the overall condition of the place.

The location is great and communications with the property manager excellent. I encountered several problems but did not insist on them being fixed during my visit. ( Who wants a repair crew sharing one's vacation time? ) That said, this is a very modest house in great need of some TLC, some deferred maintenance and repair, and some focused attention to the interior air quality (mildew). It was well below what I anticipated and I would not return.

Disappointing stay

House had a good location and beds were comfortable. Unfortunately, the house was not cleaned appropriately, which included dirty floors that had broken glass on them. Very musty smell. Basic maintenance needs to be performed. Disappointing stay, especially for the price.
