Our stately building sits on a half acre of gently sloping land, and faces a quiet lane with a beautifully landscaped median.

The large lot provides an ideal place for outdoor entertaining or for a game of croquet, and offers unmatched privacy.

The master bedroom, with a king bed, 400 thread-count sheets and down duvet (synthetic-down duvet available) has 2 closets, including a walk-in.
The bathroom floors and walls are tiled with Carrara marble, and there are dual showers and a separate w/c. The tiled floor is heated. An abundant supply of Egyptian cotton towels is provided.

The second bedroom has 2 twin beds, which can be joined together to create comfortable king, and the en suite bathroom is tiled in marble. The second bedroom configurations may be one king in lieu of 2 twin beds depending on the unit assigned, however the bed can be converted to two twins.

The kitchen is outfitted with Fisher & Paykel appliances, including a gas range, cabinet-depth refrigeration and Dual DishDrawers. A marble tiled floor lends a luxurious feel, and custom cabinetry with granite counters and an undermount sink complete the space.

The kitchen is fully equipped, with measuring cups and spoons, roasting pans, mixing bowls, garlic press, etc.

A fully-stocked wet bar with ice maker off of the large living room offers a spot for socializing. The living room sofa converts to a very comfortable bed, and there's an elegant desk with a view of the front lawn and landscaped median.

The dining room, which accommodates 8, leads to a screened porch, perfect for al fresco dining and relaxing.

Furnishings include a mix of new, midcentury modern and antique furniture with original artwork by local artists Nico Amortigue and Arthur Brouthers.

All utilities, including broadband highspeed wifi, are included.

Pet Policy: We are a dog-friendly home! No other animals are allowed. If you are traveling with a dog, it must be registered at a cost of $59 per dog (two maximum). NOTE: please follow the instructions in the reservation confirmation to register your dog. If you do not register your dog, you will be charged $120 per dog. Dogs are never allowed on the furniture or bed. If there is hair on the furniture, excess hair in the home, stains, damage, or waste found in the yard or home, you will be charged an additional fee. If you notify us of your intent to cancel prior to the lapse of the free cancellation period, we will return 97% of your payment. The other 3% will already have been collected by the credit card processing company, and we have no way to return that portion of the payment.

There are four residences in the building, all with screened porches. The upstairs units offer partial skyline views of Uptown Charlotte, and all offer the privacy and seclusion of one of Charlotte's premier streets.

For those with horticultural interests, Wing Haven Garden is 5 minutes away, and the Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden 20-30 minute drive.

The US National Whitewater Center is ~20 minutes away, offering rafting and kayaking on 'the world's largest and most complex recirculating artificial whitewater river.'

Within a half mile walking distance are more than 40 restaurants (Thai, Italian (fine and casual), French....), many locally owned shops along the Myers Park Mile (antiques, fine gifts, mens and women's clothing, etc.) and several parks, including an almost-private tennis court in Edgehill Park.

Live theater is staged just around the corner at Theatre Charlotte and independent movies are screened at the Manor Theater less than a half mile away.
