Nestled just a 5-minute drive from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, 10 minutes from the thrilling Charlotte Motor Speedway, and 15 minutes from downtown Charlotte and the vibrant Spectrum Center. This property offers the perfect home base for your getaway.

Unwind in the communal pool, connect with free WiFi, and refresh your wardrobe with the in-unit washer and dryer. Cozy up by the fireplace and enjoy a movie night on the large smart TV. Unleash your competitive spirit with a game of pool or ping pong in the game room, relax with a good book on the back patio, or stay up-to-date with work in the private study area.

"This is Us" is a premiere vacation rental in the University area. This property was designed with you and your family in mind. We provide what we look for when traveling away from home: a safe, clean, peaceful, relaxing getaway retreat. Though not at home, it has everything needed for "jam-packed" family fun during your stay.

Each bedroom has its own entertainment system. Details: 1) Our 1st-class "Director's Suite" features a Cali-King bed and sitting areas; 2) The classic "Front & Center" room provides a comfortable, private sleeping quarter; while 3) The "Spotlight" room's natural sunlight shines onto the spacious double-decker space that accommodates four. The "Great Expectations" area promotes family time and activities with a "Back Stage" view of Carolina's natural landscapes and furry, feathered friends.

The equipped Galley promotes gatherings of 4-10 guests in one setting. An added perk is the "Entertainment Tonight" space, where active and quiet play for children and adults frequently occurs.

Hands down the best VRBO we’ve ever stayed in!I cannot say enough good things about this stay. This is honestly the most well-appointed property I have ever booked on VRBO. Every detail was thought of, and it made for an incredible experience for our family.The house is situated in a quiet, quaint neighborhood that felt very safe and relaxing. The absolute highlight for the kids (and adults!) was the bonus game room in the garage—you have to see it to believe it! It was such a fun surprise.Finally, Lisa is a fantastic host. She is incredibly attentive, provides amazing customer service, and truly cares about her guests' experience. If you are looking for a family-friendly spot in Charlotte, this is it. We will definitely be back!

This lovely house was perfect for our weekend visit with 2 granddaughters who play volleyball for UNCC. The owner, Lisa, was very gracious to allow, without hesitation, another granddaughter to check in early. She had flown in and was stranded when we were delayed by a car breakdown on the way to Charlotte. So much appreciated! The house was immaculate, beds and recliners were so comfortable, kitchen is great. We highly recommend!

Great location! We came for WOO races and this was a quick drive to the track! The property is beautiful and comfy! The owners were so helpful! Had we been at the home more we would have used the awesome garage area! Anyone with kids would love the air hockey game in there! We will stay here again! Love the Charlotte area, so beautiful and some of the friendliest people!

This was our second year in a row staying at this house. Lisa, the host is by far the absolute best there is! This home is just stunning, cozy, fun and relaxing. It is meticulous, everything is new, linens are always fresh, the whole home smells of beautiful freshners throughout. The matress is so comfortable we checked this time so we can buy one for home! The garage fun room brought the family together every night of our stay for games and laughs. We highly recommend this home and host if you're looking for a place to call home during your stay in or around Charlotte.

Good house size

Overall lots of place to spread out for 5 people. Full size appliances and used everything but the oven, so can’t comment on that but otherwise everything worked perfectly. Nice games surprise in garage, kids loved the pool and ping pong table.

We rented this property and traveled with kids age 3-13 and my husband and I. The neighborhood was very safe and quiet. The property came fully equipped with everything we would need. What few needs we had, the manager was very quick to respond. The house was clean and the sweet touches made it so much better. The game room kept all of our family entertained for hours. We are in Charlotte often visiting and we will definitely be staging again!

Stayed here for our son’s graduation from UNCC. It was a convenient location to campus and his apartment. House was clean and well kept. Nice touches with snacks and coffee supplies. Would definitely recommend to others.

We had the best stay at this property over the weekend. We came to the area to attend the drag races at Z Max Dragway. This house is well-maintained and has a great layout. Betting is comfortable and the backyard is a great place to escape. The use of the space is excellent and the furniture is comfortable. We would definitely stay here again!

Nice place with comfortable furnishings. Everything was neat and tidy. Top bunk of the bunk bed would be ok for a child, but was a little wobbly for our older teens - we managed it and had a great stay. I would stay there again.
