Whether you’re here for a relaxing family retreat or a fun-filled group vacation, The Retreat offers all the amenities you need for a memorable stay.

The main level is designed for ultimate comfort and convenience. It features:
- 3 bedrooms: A luxurious king suite with a private bath, a second king bedroom, and a bedroom with two queen beds.
- Fully stocked chef’s kitchen: A spacious kitchen with a gas stove, a large island with seating for 6, and an eat-in dining area with seating for 10. It’s perfect for cooking group meals while staying connected with the family.
- Family Room: Cozy up in the comfortable seating area with two large couches and two chairs to enjoy quality time together.
- Gigantic screened-in porch: This is the heart of the home for group gatherings, offering plenty of seating with 5 rocking chairs facing the lake, additional tables for seating up to 16 guests, and a large sectional perfect for unwinding. Ceiling fans help keep the atmosphere cool and comfortable.
- You’ll also find a laundry room and two additional bathrooms on this level.

The lower level is the entertainment hub of the house:
- Bar area: With island seating for 6, a full fridge, and a dishwasher, the bar area is perfect for serving up drinks while you play.
- Shuffleboard: Challenge your friends and family to a game of shuffleboard for endless fun.
- Family Room: Another spacious room with a massive sectional and two chairs, plus a TV to watch your favorite shows or movies.
- Kids TV Room: Featuring a 100" screen, foosball table, and plenty of comfortable seating for the little ones.
- Two bedrooms: A king bedroom and a bunk room with 3 sets of twin bunk beds, ideal for kids or teens.
- There are also two full bathrooms with shower/tub combos for easy clean-ups after swimming in the lake or pool.

- Indoor/Outdoor Saltwater Pool: Swim year-round with expansive windows that bring the outdoors in. It's the perfect place to relax and unwind, no matter the weather. Plus, the pool can be heated for an additional fee—perfect for a cozy dip any time of year!
- Fire Pit Area: Enjoy the built-in fire pit surrounded by 12 rockers – the perfect spot for making s’mores and sharing stories after a day of adventure. Firewood is provided.
- Private Dock: With 150 feet of shoreline, the new dock offers space for your boat, as well as a great place for swimming and enjoying the lake. Kayaks and Standup Paddle Boards are available for exploring the nearby coves.
- The almost one-acre yard is fully fenced, providing plenty of space for outdoor games, relaxation, and enjoying the surrounding beauty.

Home Truths:
- No events, group gatherings, or parties are allowed at any AvantStay property under any circumstances.
- This home allows up to 2 dogs for a fee; undisclosed pets brought without AvantStay’s approval may result in a $500 fine per pet.
- Indoor fireplaces are NOT for guest use.
- Pool heat is a paid feature and must be requested at least 48 hours before the day of check-in.
- Pool heat availability is subject to change during the winter months (December - February). Please reach out to our team for approval if you are interested in adding pool heat to your stay during these months. Keep in mind that this does not guarantee pool heat will be available for your stay.
- Due to natural fluctuations, we’re unable to provide specific water depth information at any given time. The majority of docks in this area are generally suitable for most average-sized pontoons and ski boats. However, since boat drafts can vary, guests are encouraged to refer to Lake Norman nautical charts, GPS systems, and depth maps—and rely on their own knowledge of their vessel’s specifications—to ensure safe navigation.
- Please note: The Sonos surround sound system is not available for guest use.

Parking Details:
- A maximum of 6 cars is allowed onsite.
- No parking on grass or street.

This is a smoke-free property. Violation of the no-smoking policy will result in forfeiture of the security deposit, a $300 smoking fee, and liability for any fire or property damage costs.

As part of our commitment to being good neighbors, occupancy limits and quiet hours (9pm-8am) are strictly enforced. No speakers or sound systems will be provided for use in our properties. Violation of any noise ordinances will be subject to fines that can reach up to $10,000 per violation.

There is nothing more important to us at AvantStay than the health, safety, and experience of our guests & staff. We've enhanced our cleaning and sanitation protocols and are taking extra care to disinfect all surfaces between reservations with hospital-grade disinfecting solutions.

As a reminder, we do work with 3rd party vendors to maintain the property, and although we adhere to the strictest CDC guidelines and advise all contractors to wear PPE equipment, we can not always enforce. We strongly advise guests to please deny access if any vendors fail to meet and adhere to these standards.

IDs will be requested for verification after booking. All bookings over 28 days require a security deposit.
