Upstairs at Studio 36 includes one off-street parking spot. The reserved parking spot is located in a parking lot approximately one block from Upstairs at Studio 36.

Featuring vibrant decor, spacious interiors, and access to a peaceful courtyard, the space is thoughtfully designed for both connection and relaxation. Just steps from King Street, you’ll enjoy easy access to the city’s top dining, shops, and attractions, whether staying in or heading out to explore.



- Per the official City of Charleston Short Term Rental ordinance, the property must NOT be occupied by "more than four (4) unrelated people". This does NOT apply to families.



- Sofa bed available upon request. It is not included in the official bed count and is not advertised as a sleeping area. If you plan to use it during your stay, please let us know in advance so we can provide the necessary linens



This unit is fully licensed and legal with the City of Charleston under STR Operational Permit OP2025-06833 and Business License BL039446-12-2024.



Guest Access:

🔑Guests will receive a personal access code 24 hours before arrival. This code unlocks the keypad on the front door. A physical key will be available on-site as a backup in case of any technical issues.

Smoking is strictly prohibited indoors. A fine will be charged ($300) for any in-room smoke evidence. If you wish to smoke, please do so at least 10 feet away from the building outdoors.



🧳 Luggage Drop-Off:

For guests arriving early or departing late, complimentary luggage drop-off is available upon request, so long as the home is clean and empty the night before arrival or the night after departure. Please reach out 24 hours before arrival or departure to confirm availability.

Our home is in a vibrant neighborhood just steps from King Street’s dining and nightlife. While that energy is part of the experience, city noise may be heard. Please be advised that:

⭐ A local noise ordinance is in effect from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

⭐ Guests must be respectful of neighbors during these hours.

⭐ We do not offer refunds for noise-related issues that are to be expected of the location.

⭐ By booking, you acknowledge and accept this city setting and the potential for ambient noise.



🧑‍🔧 To help us ensure a great stay, guests must allow us the chance to address any issues during their visit.

Refunds will not be issued for concerns reported after checkout or when resolution efforts are declined.

Clean apartment. Charming. Loved the wood floors. All necessities were great - Comfortable bed. Shower worked well and did not fluctuate in temperature. Air temp also worked well. Only used kitchen for small tasks but all worked well. Easy to communicate. I would recommend to others. Thanks for a pleasant stay.
