Welcome to this luxury home in Charleston where historic charm blends with upscale comfort in a central location. Perfect for travelers who love rich architectural details, elegant interiors, and being walking distance from the city’s main attractions. This home offers character, amenities, and position all in one memorable stay.



The Space:

Originally built in 1820, this magnificent home was taken all the way down to its studs in an extensive renovation in order to expose its rich history while providing modern day luxuries. You wont find another house quite like this to make your Charleston trip the best it can be!



This is a classic Charleston home made up of two units A&B, this is the listing for Unit A (downstairs unit). The entire unit is yours, so there are no shared spaces except for the driveway area. During the remodel we went to great lengths (open cell spray foam, 1 inch quiet sheetrock and vibration barrier) to ensure the house stays very quiet from one unit to the other so this is not your typical duplex!

The Neighborhood:

The Elliotborough/Cannonborough district of downtown Charleston. With its friendly neighbors, cozy restaurants, and tree lined streets, our neighborhood will immerse you in Charleston’s classic charm. This house is perfect for a family or group seeking a fun, culinary and cultural vacation. Popular dining spots in the neighborhood include Xiao Bao Biscuit, Fuel, Porchetta Shop, Southbound, R Kitchen, Chubby Fish and many more! Our guests and neighbors also rave about Welton's Tiny Bakeshop and Kudu Coffee. We recommend going to either for a cup of locally-roasted coffee or their delicious cookies and cakes. The house is only a short walk from the very popular King Street where you will find a multitude of great shops – including antique shops, book stores and fashion boutiques – as well as endless buzzing restaurants and bars.



Getting Around:

You can walk almost everywhere - but should you want to rest your feet, there are many other options for getting around: Uber, Lyft, Charleston Bike Taxi, Charleston Rickshaw, Green Taxi or Yellow Cab.



Other Things to Note:

Luggage storage offered Monday- Friday at our main office from 8:30am-5pm. On weekends we recommend utilizing Bounce Luggage storage. Please inquire once booking is complete for the address!

Cramped and dirty

We paid over 1800 for 3 nights. We were a party of six adults and a baby. The place was very cramped. Our car was door dinged by the guests staying upstairs. Parking is extremely tight. There is only room for five to sit in the living room. There is only seating for four in the kitchen. Major dust residue throughout, smell of mold, backed up shower, no pressure at kitchen sink, filthy bathroom sink and floor. Squeaky bed in the queen/bunk room. Very disappointed with interior. Location was great and communication was great.

A real charmer!

This was the absolute perfect place for our quick 48hr girls trip to Charleston. Each of us being able to have not only our own room, but also our own bathroom was amazing. Also, one of the best beds I’ve ever kept in - so comfy. You can’t beat the location of being just a couple blocks off King street. We were able to walk to everything we wanted to see.

Quick Family Getaway to Charleston

Our family book a last minute getaway to Charleston during my older daughters college spring break and before my youngest started high school lacrosse. We stayed Saturday through Tuesday (I wish we could have stayed longer). The space was very comfortable and had everything we needed. It's a perfect location to walk to Kings Street for shopping and restaurants. The front room was a little noisy, but the owners provided sound machines which was very helpful. Great location, all the amenities we needed....would definitely stay again.

Perfect house for a getaway!

Perfect house for a vacation in charleston! Definitely one of the best places i have stayed in charleston! It is very difficult to find houses near King street with parking but this house accommodates perfectly!

Coolest place ever!

Everything about this place was ideal. We are traveling with friends, three couples, and each couple had their own private bedroom with a private bath, individual climate controls in the rooms, television in two of the bedrooms, and an immaculate, well-organized, modern kitchen in a very old traditional Charleston Home. We could not have asked for anything more. The property manager was so responsive to every one of our needs and answered all our questions. We highly recommend the little gourmet French restaurant across the street, Bistronomy. Excellent food and just 20 steps from our front door. We will be back.

Very nice accommodations. Clean, comfortable, convenient. DW and washer/dryer very quiet. A little more complicated for large family meals, but that shouldn't affect most visitors. Would definitely stay again.

Great location, house, and visit.

Great property that is well taken care of. We had 4 adults and two kids and utilized 2 of the bedrooms, the bunk beds are an amazing addition. The living area is just the perfect size and allowed us all a place to relax when not out and play games in the evening. We really enjoyed the location, easy access to a number of coffee shops and restaurants. Super easy access to 26 so we could jump over to Mount Pleasant, Sullivan's Island, and many of the other locations in the area.

The property is a two unit dwelling that is in the perfect area for a stay in Charleston. The property is a short walk to King Street and offers very nice accommodations with high grade appliances, pretty decor, and comfortable beds.
