You'll be staying on the most lively and charming street Downtown! This is the FULL Charleston experience. Shops and restaurants just steps from your door, amazing architecture all around you, and the Historic Rainbow Row, Battery Park, and City Market just a few blocks' walk away. Some of the country's finest cuisine can be found in the neighborhood. FIG, 167 Raw, Zero George, Poogan's Porch, and HUSK just to name a few! Stroll down to Callie's Hot Little Biscuit (another Charleston Staple) to grab breakfast and a coffee.



Getting Around:

You can walk almost everywhere downtown from the house, but should you want to rest your feet there are many other options for getting around: Uber, Charleston bike taxi & Charleston Rickshaw, green taxi or yellow cab are a few options. There is also a city-wide bike share program called Holy City Spokes, which is a very affordable way to rent bikes and enjoy the city!

Host was excellent and responsive! Arrived to a clean historic Charleston gem with unique quirks and charm. Such an ideal location for shopping and enjoying the city. Bring ear plugs for sleeping - there’s a popular dive bar next door that’s also worth a visit! Parking is great! Kitchen had everything we needed. The charm of the property comes with a one of a kind slanted floor, few trip hazards with stairs, so watch prep any grandparents :) guests of all ages enjoyed and appreciated the wonderful communal space!

Great communication and the place was very cute and clean. Beds were all very comfortable and sheets and towels smelled fresh. We appreciated all of the many places to sit and gather. Per the other reviews, the bar next store is too loud to sleep in the first floor bedroom (no matter how much white noise). So I slept on the couch until the bar closed at 2am, and that worked because the couches are large and comfy.

We really enjoyed our stay here! A perfect location for exploring Charleston shops and restaurants. Conveniently near College of Charleston as well. Would definitely stay again if I am in the area. Communication was quick and easy with the host. And I loved that there was parking.

My friends and I really enjoyed our stay. The apartment was just as it is described and pictured. Plenty of space. It was right on King Street so it was an ideal location. Walking distance to many of Charleston’s places to see. The manager was great at checking in to see if there was anything that we need.

Great Weekend in Charleston

We met some friends in Charleston and had a great weekend at this property. The location can't be beat if you want something in the middle of King Street but with the ability to step away from the hustle and bustle easily. We walked to dinner every night and had tons of shopping all around us. Great location!

Less Than Expected

Photos made the rental look much more elegant than it actually was. Not suitable for my husband me who are both 70ish. Leaning floors, steep stairs and very low to the floor furniture that was uncomfortable to us. Property managers were very accommodating. The property was just more "dated" than our perception from listing.

Great location

We love Charleston and we’re so excited to find this place so close to everything we like most. Never had to use our car because everything was within walking distance. The rental company was easy to work with and quickly answered any questions we had. Check in and out were seamless.Although there was no dishwasher or washer and dryer, we made it work. A longer stay with our family, which included grandkids might have been tough, but we were only there for 3 nights.The place was so clean, comfortable and cute. Would very much enjoy returning.

Great location and big apt - not well maintained however

We enjoyed staying in the property and it’s close proximity to King Street as well as the College of Charleston. However, the apartment itself was rundown. There were cobwebs throughout and it needed some fresh paint.

Perfect Location

This property has the perfect location on King street. All activities are walkable. There is exceptional private reserved parking right in front of the back entrance which is huge in this area. Notable is there are two medium flights of stairs to navigate. Also several comments about the bar below it are accurate. In general there is no real inconvenience with noise except Sat night when the music is live. Perfect rental for a family that needs two rooms. Kitchen well stocked. Pet friendly which is a plus. Would definitely stay here again.

Amazing location, beautiful space!

My husband and I stayed here with 3 other couples. This house was in the perfect location for our one night stay in Charleston, walking distance to all the city had to offer! The space itself is gorgeous and thoughtfully decorated. They have thought of everything you could need and the beds were so comfortable. Our only regret was that we couldn’t stay for another night or two!

The wifi password was blocked on VRBO end and after 24 hours of back and forth, it was finally resolved. My stay was 3 nights, so a large portion of that time was taken up with this hassle. I'd like VRBO to refund their fees.

Great Location had a wonderful time

This was our first time to Charleston. The property was in a great location 5/5 stars for sure. It was clean and in a great neighborhood that was walkable to everything. We even walked to the City Market and the Battery. Would not need a car at all. We just used an Uber to go to dinner on Sullivan's Island one night. The property manager was great and very responsive and even arranged for a free bottle of wine from a local shop. Unfortunately, we weren't there long enough to take advantage of that. Just a few things. It is next to a bar. I should have known this as there were mentions of this in previous reviews but I missed it, so that's on me. My husband and I were not bothered because we slept upstairs but our friend was in the room next to the bar. He didn't complain, but when I went to listen it was loud. So if you are a light sleeper, maybe take the upstairs room or use the bunkbeds. It does not overlook King Street, it is one building back and it overlooks the building next to you. I was fine with that because I wasn't going for the view, and honestly, it probably buffered the street noise which was good for me. But if you actually want to see King Street from your window, you won't. It is a charming older unit. Which, again is OK, but don't expect a modern renovated unit that looks old. It was super clean and super secure and private. I like history so I was good. Enjoyed my time there!!

A Great time!

We had an awesome time at this VRBO! The location could not have been more perfect and prevented us from having to uber all weekend. We walked up and down king street several times and enjoyed all the shopping and the fun dive bar next door. Although we did not use the two parking spots, we definitely will be coming back and utilizing this perk. All of my friends were so impressed with me for this spot and everyone had a great time!

Cutest place right on King !

Great place to stay for a few nights ! One of the outside doors wouldn’t lock and it was fixed in 30 minutes. We really enjoyed our stay and the closeness to everything we wanted to do .
