This house is perfect for a family or group seeking a fun, culinary and cultural vacation. Popular dining spots in the neighborhood include Babas on Cannon, Xiao Bao Biscuit, Fuel, Porchetta Shop, Southbound, R Kitchen, Chubby Fish and many more! Our guests and neighbors also rave about Welton's Tiny Bakeshop and Kudu Coffee. We recommend going to either for a cup of locally-roasted coffee or their delicious cookies and cakes. The house is only a short walk from the very popular King Street where you will find a multitude of great shops – including antique shops, book stores and fashion boutiques – as well as endless buzzing restaurants and bars.

You can walk almost everywhere - but should you want to rest your feet, there are many other options for getting around: Uber, Lyft, Charleston Bike Taxi, Charleston Rickshaw, Green Taxi or Yellow Cab.

It was the perfect spot! Very clean. Felt private. Having the balcony was a big winner for us as we like to sit outside often. Very grateful for the host accommodating our large vehicle as well! When we return, we will return yo the Fire Tower!

In spite of being in a building full of rental units, the place felt very private and quiet, which was great. If I have a suggestion it might be that the kitchen could be stocked with a bit more dishes, silverware, and utensils. Loved the location. Really appreciate the private garage parking. Tres elegant. And the low rating on the check-in was only that there was some sort of glitch delivering the check-in details, so we had trouble getting the access code (which then - unfortunately - also needed to be reprogrammed to work properly), but no matter, it did not diminish our pleasure in the accommodation at all.

The unit was very close to everything! You walked down the driveway and you hit a coffee shop and a restaurant. The unit itself was the right size and perfect to relax in. The bed was cozy and the kitchen had all you needed if you wanted to cook.

Location is great and the host was very easy to deal with. Only issue is that the noise level of guest staying in adjoining rooms is an issue. Otherwise a great stay and we really enjoyed ourselves. Would return to this VRBO again!

Great Location

Right around the corner from King St and everything was within walking distance or a short Uber ride. Didn’t stay in the condo much bc we were constantly out and about. Charleston is a beautiful city.

Perfect Location

My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary weekend. This location was perfect for access to King street and the building and unit itself were very clean and inviting. Super comfy bed and overall quiet from outside noise. We would definitely stay here again.

Exceptional Stay!

We absolutely loved our visit to Charleston and our stay here at Fire Tower! It was exactly what we were wanting from a place. Centrally located with private, secure parking. We could walk over to King St. or it was a quick drive to everything we wanted to see! As someone with strict dietary needs, the full kitchen was incredible to have access to. The private patio was wonderful, and the rooftop was such a joyous place to relax and read a little in our down time! We suggest everyone choose Fire Tower for their stay in Charleston.

Anniversary trip was perfect

Great location! Very secure building, including locked garage, keyless entry on all doors. The rooftop is awesome! Several seating areas with great views of Charleston and the King Street neighborhood. We would definitely come back to the Fire Tower.

Great location, nice place!

We stayed in a 1BR/1BA in the fire tower building for a week. The bed was great, very comfortable. Everything was clean and nice. The living room area was small, but that’s really the only negative about it. The area just off of King Street was very walkable for coffee shops, bars, restaurants and shops. Would stay there again!
