With its friendly neighbors, cozy restaurants, and tree lined streets, our neighborhood will immerse you in Charleston’s classic charm. This house is perfect for a family or group seeking a fun, culinary and cultural vacation. Popular dining spots in the neighborhood include Xiao Bao Biscuit, Fuel, Porchetta Shop, Southbound, R Kitchen, Chubby Fish and many more! Our guests and neighbors also rave about Welton's Tiny Bakeshop and Kudu Coffee. We recommend going to either for a cup of locally-roasted coffee or their delicious cookies and cakes. The house is only a short walk from the very popular King Street where you will find a multitude of great shops – including antique shops, book stores and fashion boutiques – as well as endless buzzing restaurants and bars.



Getting Around:

You can walk almost everywhere - but should you want to rest your feet, there are many other options for getting around: Uber, Lyft, Charleston Bike Taxi, Charleston Rickshaw, Green Taxi or Yellow Cab.



Other Things to Note:

Luggage storage offered Monday- Friday at our main office from 8:30am-5pm. On weekends we recommend utilizing Bounce Luggage storage. Please inquire once booking is complete for the address!

Great location for walking on King street where there were many restaurants, bars and cute stores. It should be noted that there are 2 sets of stairs to the bedrooms so people should be capable of climbing them to get to sleep. Very nice to have 4 bathrooms. Kitchen had pots and pans but nothing else so if you wanted to cook, you'd need to buy everything.

Check in was easy and on site parking was great! The unit was clean but needed some work due to the usage of the unit over time. Nighttime was loud, so not ideal when traveling with kiddos. Sound machines were provided though. Overall, the unit served the purpose for a weekend stay with a family of 5.

Nice location and spacious well maintained property. Easy parking and workable spaces though a little tight given modern large vehicles. Neighborhood feels transitional but generally safe. Promotion with wine shop is nice touch as we got nice complimentary bottle of wine with our goodies buys. TV was a little confusing to operate. Overall good experience and would stay with property again.

Nice location

The property was spacious and clean and accommodated 5 adults well. You can hear the music on king street at night, but once asleep it was no problem. My only issue is that there is only one tv and no access to Netflix or Hulu like stated in the description. We could not even find a local station. The other is that the living furniture could have been a little more comfy. Especially after a long day of sightseeing. It is definitely close to everything and great parking.

Nice Place and Great Location

House was very big (3 flooors) and clean. Beds were very comfortable! Communication with property manager was great. This house is just a block from King Street which was great because you could walk to restaurants and shops. My only complaint, which is no fault of the property management, is that you could hear the music from King Street each night well past midnight. I would stay here again though!

Great location and clean home

We stayed here with our family (2 parents, 1 grandparent and 2 children under 7) and a friend family (2 parents and 1 child). The location is great for walking to some shops. Its a far walk in the summer heat with two small kids but if we were all adults, we could have walked and just stayed hydrated. The house is great. The only negative criticism (barely) would be that if someone else is using the water in any other part of the house, the water pressure drops a lot. Its an older home so if the things that could go wrong, its rather small! We would stay here again for sure!

Perfect Home Away from Home 


Friends from 3 different states met after many years and this home-away-from-home was perfect for us. It is located 1 block from King St., in a safe area and walking distance to about anything one might need. The home was clean with a great kitchen, beds, & bathrooms. Our host immediately would respond to any question we had. We definitely will stay in this home on our next trip.
