This private unit is the back portion of a larger house - 1 off-street parking space is included! PLEASE NOTE - parking is very tight, if you have a large vehicle we suggest using the parking garage nearby.



The Neighborhood:

The Elliotborough/Cannonborough district of downtown Charleston. With its friendly neighbors, cozy restaurants, and tree lined streets, our neighborhood will immerse you in Charleston’s classic charm. This house is perfect for a family or group seeking a fun, culinary and cultural vacation. Popular dining spots in the neighborhood include Xiao Bao Biscuit, Fuel, Porchetta Shop, Southbound, R Kitchen, Chubby Fish and many more! Our guests and neighbors also rave about Welton's Tiny Bakeshop and Kudu Coffee. We recommend going to either for a cup of locally-roasted coffee or their delicious cookies and cakes. The house is only a short walk from the very popular King Street where you will find a multitude of great shops – including antique shops, book stores and fashion boutiques – as well as endless buzzing restaurants and bars.



Getting Around:

You can walk almost everywhere - but should you want to rest your feet, there are many other options for getting around: Uber, Lyft, Charleston Bike Taxi, Charleston Rickshaw, Green Taxi or Yellow Cab.



Other Things to Note:

Luggage storage offered Monday- Friday at our main office from 8:30am-5pm. On weekends we recommend utilizing Bounce Luggage storage. Please inquire once booking is complete for the address!

The location was excellent. Local eateries within walking distance and very convenient to shopping on King St. Parking is tight, but we were lucky to not have any other renters fighting for the narrow spots.

Parking was a bit tight but it was explained to me. Very nice to be so close to King St. We had a blast walking the town of Charleston. Everything was really nice. The room were nice and had plenty of space to relax when we were there.

The location was amazing, the bed was very spacious and comfortable, and the provided linens and soaps were nice and felt good on the skin. The only downside would be the construction happening directly across the street from the rental. The construction starts at 8am and ends around 4-5pm. Other than construction noise, the stay was great and I will definitely be returning in the future.

I know they say parking is a tight fit ... It's a very tight fit! Definitely doable but be sure to tuck your mirrors in before you drive.Easy to walk to food nearby. Walking to historic downtown will be a bit of a walk, but very doable!Great home away from home for a couple days

Great location literally a 5 min walk from upper king street. Somebody was parked in our spot when we got there and the rental property got back with us and fixed it promptly. They are not kidding about the small driveway, an SUV or truck will not fit.

This property was perfect. It was safe. It was close to everything we were looking for. We wouldn’t change a thing. The parking lot was underwater due to a recent storm, and the property manager found us a spot immediately, so that we could park our car safely, and at no additional charge.

Couple’s Getaway

The Charleston Carriage Home was the perfect little spot for my husband and I to stay in downtown. We were within walking distance of so much! The place was clean and so nice and cool during the super hot days we were there.We enjoyed the art museum, many restaurants, the aquarium, the market and the jazz club on King Street!

We enjoyed our stay. The communication was amazing and very accommodating to our needs. This is a charming, cute, and well adorned home just a block off King Street. We were able to walk to the Market in just 15 min. We also appreciated the off street parking, as this is not the normal in downtown Charleston. Highly recommend!

Perfect for a couple. Parking is tight and suitable only for a compact car. Bedroom and bath are upstairs, so keep in mind if you have mobility issues. Everything was clean and good condition. Construction across the street is ongoing but didn’t bother us as we were gone during the day. Recommend!

Amazing Stay

My husband and I had the best time in Charleston. This property is conveniently located near king street and we did not have to move our car once we parked. The space was very clean and so chic! The owners are very good with communication as well.

Good, solid property

Nice place. Very accommodating when I messed up our arrival time. They have the basics. Don’t expect anything over the top - only four towels, one wine glass, etc. Bathroom is starting to tire - grout is stained, etc. We liked the location - it was great for walking etc. There is construction across the street and looks to be for a long while. It is noisy during the day. That obviously can’t be helped by the owner - just be aware when booking so you aren’t disappointed. Bottom line - good solid no frills place to stay while in Charleston.
