Summary:

Villa Cristy is a modern furnished home in the affluent La Floresta area. The home has 3 bedrooms with 3.5 washrooms; a perfect choice for a large family with children or groups. The villa is equipped with a solar-heated pool, hot tub, barbeque grill, and children's play area. Located in a very calm and peaceful area where you are surrounded by nature and very conveniently close to restaurants, bars, grocery stores, parks, and the gorgeous Chapala Lake.



The Space:

The property is beautifully landscaped and it's the perfect place for a family or friends get-away. The kitchen is fully equipped for all your cooking and baking needs. There is a large patio dining area with outdoor seating surrounding the solar-heated pool. Inside it has a full-size pool table, perfect for hosting a get-together. Guests also have access to the washer and dryer.



Guest Access:

Guests can access the suite via an access code. Instructions will be sent to guests upon booking the home.



Swimming pool & Jacuzzi:

Please be aware that the swimming pool and Jacuzzi are solar-heated. As a result, it may require at least 4- 5 hours for the water to become comfortably warm.

The magical town of Ajijic (Place where water flows in Nahuatl) is located on the shore of Lake Chapala, in the state of Jalisco. The population is the perfect mix of culture, traditions and gastronomy that are mixed in an ideal way with its picturesque cobbled streets.



The wide variety of restaurant and bar options make this town perfect for finding something new to discover, Ajijic is a traditional town to rest and enjoy one of the best climates in the world.

NO PETS ARE ALLOWED: Please be advised that pets are not permitted during your stay. However, if your reservation includes a service dog, kindly notify the property management in advance. This will enable us to provide you with information regarding the house rules and ensure that we can assist you more effectively prior to your check-in.



HOUSE RULES:



1. A set of house rules is strictly implemented throughout every stay and must comply:

- No smoking in any form ( electric cigarette, weeds, tobacco )

- No illegal drugs

- No party or gathering of any sort

- No loud noises at all times

- No pets allowed

- Please no 'loud' gatherings. Quiet hours: 9 pm to 9 am

- Only registered number of guests will be allowed to stay, extra person fees apply for additional guests

- 1 set of towels will be given per registered guest.



2. Cooking essentials provided : Salt & Pepper; Cooking oil; cookware for your convenience.



3. Please note that the swimming pool is heated using solar power. While we make every effort to maintain a comfortable temperature, it may vary depending on factors such as weather conditions and the time of year. As a result, we cannot guarantee that the pool will always be warm. If the weather is cool and cloudy, the water temperature will be room temperature.



4.- Please note that the Jacuzzi might take up to 4-6 hours to heat up.





Guest Registration and Occupancy Rule:



- No loud music or partying, please keep noise at a minimum. Breaking this rule will result in a penalty. This community is known for strictly not allowing loud music or noises.



- All guests, including visitors, must be registered and accounted for in the reservation.



- After the 4th guest, an additional cost per person will be applied as stated in the listing.



- Only guests who are registered and counted for in the reservation are allowed on the property at all times.



- Violation of this rule may result in a penalty, including additional charges or cancellation of the reservation.

Please note that this rule is in place to ensure the safety, security, and comfort of all guests. We appreciate your cooperation in adhering to this policy.



How do I get from Don Miguel Hidalgo Y Costilla International Airport to Villa Cristy?



A safe and secure Taxi service is available at the airport. Passengers are required to pay posted zone rates at the Taxi Stand located inside the airport. No money is exchanged with the drivers unless you provide a cash tip. Payment for taxi services may be made in Mexican pesos or credit card, they do provide an exchange service for U.S. dollars but the rate may be high. ATM’s are also located inside the Airport terminal and can provide you with a quick and easy way to obtain local currency using your international bank debit card.



The villa can accommodate maximum of 8 guests, extra person fee applies from the 5th guest.



Yes, we offer free parking for our guests outside the property.



We offer free password-protected WIFI to all our guests, you can check your email and surf the web.





There is a lady caretaker available on site living at the back of the house to give you assistance. Let us know if you prefer the caretaker not to be on site during your stay.



Please note that the gardener goes to the property at random times as the work to maintain the garden beautiful depends each season. Please let us know in advance if you want our team to let you know the daily schedule.

Several of the amenities listed do not function and it is not a private stay.

I booked on June 15, 2022 and arrived on 6/27/22. The hot tub was empty so I sent communication and was told to fill it no problem. Well when I finally called to ask how to turn it on I was told “oh there was a miscommunication it went out last week please do not use it”. Same for the clothes dryer, “oh it went out a few days ago, the entire inside drum of the dryer was gone and it looked like it had been that way for a while. The skylights in the restrooms leak. Lastly, on our return to the VRBO from being out on the 28th we discovered that the “care taker” of the house and her small child also stay there so it’s very awkward because you see them in a tiny room with a glass door so really it’s not a private stay. I reached out several times and was told they would consider some type of refund for the inconveniences we had. Out of a 3 night stay they refunded a total of 6% of the fee for the inconveniences. Don’t get me wrong the house is nice but when you are booking and see the pictures and when you look for a property with laundry and you don’t get it it’s very frustrating that they see that it’s only a 6% of a refund. We had a huge inconvenience that we had to go to a laundry mat to get our laundry done for our next destination. I’ve never had to confirm that everything is in working order but I guess now I will.
