An ambient 19th century semi-basement studio only steps from the Cretan Sea

Offering complete privacy with its own entrance, our semi-basement mini home is part of a wonderfully renovated 19th century complex set in one of Chania's most historic neighborhoods, just 20 meters from a most picturesque seashore with coves and swim holes that offer many "non-touristy" swimming options, quality taverns, restaurants, cafes, a wine bar, bakeries and interesting landmarks. All lie within few-minutes walking distance.
The old town and the popular Venetian harbor is only a fifteen-minute walk away, rendering a car obsolete, as everything that is beautiful about our city is within reach.
The 15 sq-metre, fully equipped room is part of your 60 square-metre private space with adjoining bathroom, a private furnished patio with a lofted view to the sea and even its own fully equipped gym.

The room itself boasts the finest style in stone and wood: There is a double floor bed perched on a 6-square-metre loft with dimmer roof lighting, under which there is a Cretan sofa, shelves and a wardrobe closet. The loft bed frees the 15 square meters of the room which includes a kitchenette with two burners, a fridge, an oven and plenty of cupboards with all the cooking utensils, crockery and cutlery you need.
On the wall opposite the sofa there is a flat screen smart TV with free Netflix access, a drawer cabinet and a wall-mounted folding table for two - all the amenities to make your stay most comfortable.
The room has a spacious, adjoining toilet with bathtub and shower.(We must note that due to the loft bed inside the room, under which lies the sitting area, the space is not ideal for persons over 1'85" in height.)
Outside the main entrance of the room, a small hallway leads to the 17-square-meter patio, which can be seen as an extension of living space, with comfortable outdoor furniture, as well as a lofted deck with table and chairs for meals with a view to the sea and the old tanneries. The whole patio area is under a balcony roof acting as pergola, providing protection from rain, heat and sun.
Based on the assessments of our guests, the home and the area itself offer one of the most original experiences a couple can enjoy on Crete.
