You'll feel like you're at a resort with all the amenities, including access to a pool, hot tub, tennis courts, golf driving net, bocce ball, basketball court, volleyball and so much more. The beach is only steps from your back decks, it will seem as if you're by yourselves on most days. Ocean views from the living, dining, kitchen and one of the master bedrooms.

The Monterey Dunes Colony is a gated community on the beach sitting between Monterey and Santa Cruz. Close to excellent restaurants, shopping, hiking and other outdoor activities. This house features 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms with beautiful ocean views and direct beach access. One of the master bedrooms, the main living area, dining and kitchen have beautiful views of Monterey Bay. You can watch dolphins, seals and whales from the comfort of the living room, dining area and outdoor decks. Beautiful sunsets are a daily occurrence. This house is ideal for a large family or 2 smaller families.

You have the entire house and also get to take advantage of the gated community amenities. The unit is split level with a vaulted ceiling in the main living area with lots of windows to take advantage of the ocean view. There are 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. One of the master bedrooms has a king size bed with a beautiful ocean view with an attached full bathroom with a shower. There is a deck just outside this master bedroom. The other master bedroom has a queen size bed with an attached full bathroom with a tub/shower. The third bedroom is on the same level as the living area with two-double beds. The third bathroom has a tub/shower and is between the upstairs bedroom and the living area.

The kitchen is stocked with dishes, glasses, utensils, pots, and pans etc. There is a large refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher, garbage disposal, stove, oven, microwave, coffee maker, and toaster. Enjoy eating your meals either indoors or outdoors on the patio dining set. We also have a full size washer and dryer. There is a TV in the main living area and in one of the master bedrooms with local channels available. We have Wifi set up, but because of the secluded location on the Dunes, it can be spotty at times. The Dunes has a Club with a pool which is open April to October, tennis courts, basketball hoop, bocce ball and golf nets. We can only host 7 people at one time INCLUDING INFANTS (the HOA has very strict rules). We get fined $150/night per person over 7 and will be assessed to your stay, should a violation occur. Also no smoking will be tolerated. While we love pets, we cannot allow guests to bring their own animals as the HOA does not allow it. There is a fine of $400/animal that will be assessed to your stay and the animal must be removed immediately.

There is an additional cost per night of 10.5 % Monterey County tax and a $150 cleaning fee per stay (It will be listed as a Host Fee). The Service Fee is VRBO's fee. The Monterey Dunes Colony Resort fee is included in the daily rate.
