Chateau Quercy - Sept Chambres , Couchages 15
ChĂąteau Quercy, a beautiful 19th century chĂąteau in the southern Quercy region of the Midi-Pyrenees, is the ideal spot for your large family holiday or special event. Having recently undergone extensive refurbishment, this chĂąteau offers spacious accommodation in extensive grounds with woodland walks through ancient cedars. Enjoy a billiards room, private swimming pool, fenced tennis court and terrace for outdoor dining.
The chĂąteau sleeps 15 guests across seven bedrooms with traditional furniture and six stunning modern bathrooms, most en-suite. The expansive contemporary kitchen is fitted to a high standard, and the dining roomâs extendable table will seat everyone for evening meals together. The two salons include one with satellite TV and DVD player, another with a beautiful 17th century carved fireplace. The homeâs highlight is the first floor âcouloir du chĂąteauâ with chandeliers, a picture gallery and grand piano.
This gorgeous French chĂąteau is 500m from a picturesque 13th century fortified village, where you can walk the stone arcades, then visit a boulangerie and cafe-bar serving meals.
A short drive away, youâll find Moissac, which has a beautiful abbey and an extension of the Canal du Midi, and Montcuq with its lively Sunday morning market. A little further afield, try prunes steeped in Armagnac in Agen, admire the beauty of the Lot valley near Pujols or spend the day in Toulouse, also known as La Ville Rose with its striking pink-hued architecture.
