Nestled beneath Sheepcliff mountain, this charming and private two bedroom, two bath, two story cottage in the Lancewood community of Cashiers, NC will be your relaxing home away from home. Two acres of hiking trails and your own private waterfall and creek located off your living room and deck. Located within walking distance of the Cashiers Crossroads, Farmer’s Market, Buck’s Coffee Shop, The Village Green and dozens of restaurants and shops in the village of Cashiers. Ingles grocery shopping one mile away. Open your windows to the sounds of the waterfall and creek crashing just steps away from your home. Hike across the wooden bridge while exploring over two acres of trails and the creek. Two story lay out allows for separation if desired (downstairs is great area for kids with bedroom, full bath and den with TV) The 600sf partially covered deck overlooking the waterfall and creek is the perfect spot for reading, napping, football watching, family cook outs, game playing and quality “down time” after a day of hiking, shopping, skiing, sightseeing and waterfall hunting across the Plateau.

Entry level: Living room, kitchen, dining area, master bedroom, full bath, balcony & partially covered deck overlooking waterfall & creek.

The cottage was great and in a very good location close to town. The outdoor space and setting with creek is really nice. Space is maximized with a den, bedroom, and bathroom on each floor. I hope to have an opportunity to visit again.

Absolutely exquisite and charming cottage. The attention to detail and cleanliness of the home, the views, the location were exceptional. The hosts were so friendly and communicative and made sure we had everything we needed. We travel frequently and this was by far one of the best vacation rentals we’ve seen. Cashiers creek stay

This property is a gem! Can walk from house to town through some woods (trail clearly marked) and on logging trail which leads to road into town. Nice big deck, shaded most of the day. We will be back!

It seems like you're away from everything but you're 5 minutes from town

Who does not want their own little waterfall and stream where you can crack the window and hear it 20 ft from your window in your own private backyard Oasis.. It was a horrible weekend weather-wise but we will be back

Cute cabin with everything you could need.

The cabin was super clean and very well stocked. It felt like a persons home and not just a rental. Patch was awesome to communicate with and when I asked about a tea kettle, he went right out and bought me a new one. Unfortunately the weather did not cooperate so we really didn’t get to fully enjoy all the outside seating and fire pit etc. would love to come back in warmer weather.

Spectacular Mountain Cottage

Adorable mountain cottage in a picture postcard location with a stream, fire pit, landscaped grounds, stone terrace and walking paths in a beautiful Sherwood Forest setting on two acres. The owners are the ultimate hosts on every metric. Cold sodas in the refrigerator, welcome snacks, etc. A 5.0 rating is well deserved!

Our favorite stay yet!

We loved our stay at the Creek side cottage! The home was even more beautiful than the photos! Our son (2) and our dog loved playing in the creek! We enjoyed making s'mores on the fire pit and having dinner on the deck. The home feels like a mountain oasis but it is so close to town and the amazing things Cashiers has to offer. The owners even marked off trails through the woods that is an easy hike down to town (less than a mile). We had the pleasure of meeting Patch and he was so nice and welcoming. We hope to make this an annual trip!

A Wonderful Place!!!

Perfection!

Beautiful cottage, amazing location with a small hike to the city center of Cashiers. We had an absolute ball! The cottage has its own fire pit where we roasted marshmallows and very open waterfall. We can’t wait to return!

Nestled Amongst Nature’s Beauty

What an incredible little cottage! We arrived late in the evening to a beautifully lit and very welcoming space that beckoned us to simply relax and enjoy all of the surrounding comforts within. In the morning, we ventured outside and took in the beautiful outdoors, just steps from the cottage and the surrounding areas. We had a wonderful experience and our hosts could not have made our stay any more pleasant! Thank you for sharing this very special property! Fabulous Falls Creek Cottage

Every detail was taken into consideration by the intentionally invitational host of Falls Creek. From the arrival note, snacks, refrigerator drinks to the tasteful decor and outdoor beauty from the deck overlooking the creek and waterfall, this vacay is a must for those who wish a peaceful, beautiful and relaxed atmosphere. Serene property a short walk from town

My parents live over six hours away from me, so when we are able to get together for a mini vacation, it’s always a blessing. Staying at this property made it even more special! It was our first time to this part of the North Carolina mountains, and there were lots of things we wanted to do and see. The house was the perfect base camp for those adventures. We cut out a few things from our itinerary because the property was so amazing, we wanted to spend so much time there enjoying the beautiful backyard and outdoor space. We grilled out, made multiple fires in the fire pit, walked the trail to town, and watched a Florida State football victory in the outdoor sitting room! One of the best parts, my four-legged best friend was able to join. Patch was amazing to communicate with and has established a top notch home-away-from-home for travelers. Five stars!

Absolutely perfect!

Only had a couple of days away, but this was the ideal cottage. Nestled in the woods, but close to town, and everything was just picturesque! The owners were also so accommodating and helpful! Cannot wait to come back again for a longer stay!
