Perfect views of the dunes, ocean, and beautiful sunrises await your arrival right off our back deck. At our beach front property, you will have direct access to the beach via a private walk. We are located only 1 mile from the Carolina Beach boardwalk (via street or beach walk), and we often take the short 20-minute walk over to the carnival, local bars, and shops downtown. Enjoy the Kure Beach pier nearby, great surf fishing, or lunch/dinner and/or a cocktail on the pier next door at Ocean Grill & Tiki Bar! End your day by washing off at our outdoor shower, having a picnic, or barbequing on the charcoal grill right in our beachy backyard. This is your perfect family getaway with an awesome aquarium and multiple inlet and oceanside parks nearby. We have a master bedroom with king sized bed and attached bath + guest room with 1 set of twin bunks + twin. Overflow sleeping with a new queen sleeper sofa in the living room.

Had a maintenance issue that was handled super fast. Cant beat this location!!! Others talk about dated decor and such, but i thought it was very comfortable and was just what we needed!

We really enjoyed our stay. The view and access to the beach was great. Check-in was easy and they allowed us to check-in a little early which was great after a long drive. The condo is nice and the right size for our family vacation.

The condo is charming due to being quirky and somewhat outdated (Corelle dishes, an old hardwood kitchen table and chairs, etc)

Family vacation

We loved this rental. We were very happy with the family atmosphere on the beach and surrounding renters. Carolina retreats was very easy to communicate with. Highly recommend for families. There is so much to do in the area. We will return!

Great Location

Nothing fancy here, just a good basic place for a family to stay. On the beach with private walkway to ocean. Good beach and waves for 3, 7, and 9 yr old grandsons. Outdoor shower off was handy. Many choices within blocks for food and treats. Enjoyed our stay.

Clean but dated, needs some TLC

The location was perfect. Really enjoyed sitting on the large deck, which had plenty of seating, listening to the live band at the Tiki Bar. The beach is only steps away and made it easy to run back to the condo lunch. The unit itself was immaculate and all of the appliances worked. The bedspreads were new and colorful. The couches were clean and comfortable. However, up close, the unit is in need of some serious repairs and updating. Holes in the walls are covered by objects that seem odd and out of place. The interior is outdated yet there are some obvious attempts to update which fail short in light of all of the needed repairs. The cheap peel and stick tile in the bathroom wasn't sticking to the floor and kept sliding around. There were soft spots in both showers like the subflooring was weak. I would consider staying there again because the pros outweigh the cons. If the unit was given a complete renovation, it would be perfection.
