Parfait petit chalet de deux chambres avec un grenier Ă  l'Ă©tage. IdĂ©al pour les familles ou une escapade romantique. À distance de marche de la promenade et Ă  un pĂątĂ© de maisons de la plage! La maison a un tĂ©lĂ©phone d'urgence et deux tĂ©lĂ©viseurs avec lecteurs DVD, mais pas Internet ou le cĂąble. House est livrĂ© avec tout ce dont vous avez besoin, y compris les fournitures de plage (wagon, serviettes, jouets, jeux). C'est une belle maison, que nous pensons que vous apprĂ©cierez autant que nous!

Cute cottage in a great location on CB. House could use some updating, but we really enjoyed our stay and the property is comfortable. The TV situation, however, takes an engineering degree to figure out - definitely needs to be simplified or, at least, have instructions posted. Property manager was initially very responsive, but at the end of the stay failed to respond regarding what to do with linens, etc.

The cottage was cute and close to the beach. It was pretty far down from the main area so it was quiet but not super walkable to shops and restaurants. We didn't realize until we got VRBO update a few days before, it doesn't have wi-fi. I didn't really think about it since most places do. We packed some DVDs but it would be nice if they had more than 3 DVDs there also. There was a hodgepodge of remotes which many didn't seem to go to anything and many had batteries that didn't work so that was not a huge deal but could have been better. It also wasn't cleaned very well. It's a beach house so I expect some sand and the occasional fly but there were wrappers or board game pieces under all of the beds. All in all we had a good trip but probably would not stay here again.

Very cozy home and very clean. Easy access to the beach and the wagon and chair were very helpful. We couldn’t get the TV in the main room to work. We think maybe the controls need new batteries. The only thing we didn’t like was that the trash and recycling cans are too close to the main door and we kept killing flies. We loved the outside shower after coming from the beach it is great specially if you have kids.

Hidden gem

This was a pleasant experience. The house is a hidden gem with a cabin feel. The host had everything available from beach toys, a wagon to pull stuff to the beach and about anything you could need. Easy access to the beach and a public dock across the street with a great sunset view over the sound. Thank you for hosting our lovely vacation.

We arrived without any arrivial instructions. We were tried reaching the owner 3 different ways until the neighbor finslly got ahold of him after 30 more minutes. The neighbor let us on & we finally received our arrival instruction 45 minutes after wntering the house. After entering, we get everyone settled & the children into the room upstairs. No remote in the house matched the TV & there were no towels for them to shower. To continue with tv in the main front room vizio, there was not a back to the remote & the batteries got super hot & burned my daughter a little. The remote is hidden nowm Then a smaller issue.... after settling in, the first bed room had 3 brownish stains from the floor to the bathroom but thats not too bad just worth nothing. I understand its a beach houuse.

Great place!

This place is so great. The comfy, homey vibe is perfect for a relaxing get away. Everything you need is there, just a short walk to the beach and in a nice quiet residential area but still close to everything. We can't wait to visit again!

Great place to stay at Carolina Beach!

My wife and I spent the weekend here and it was the perfect place. The host was super responsive, and the house is great, super clean, and all the things you need in the kitchen are there. It is a minute walk to the beach, and less than a 5 minute drive to all of the Carolina Beach restaurants and shops. We will definitely stay here again.

Love staying here.

We have stayed here for probably about 4 or 5 yrs now. It s always been a pleasant experience. This yr I feel like the cleanliness was lacking and we had barely any towels. I messaged the property manager about the lack of propane or charcoal for grills. As I wasn’t sure if I was supposed to supply my own. Never got a response from her. We look forward to this family vacation every yr so I hate to leave a bad review. I would definitely still stay again. We still however enjoyed our stay and had a blast as always.

Super close to the beach!

My family and I stayed here for the weekend and it was great! It’s not the most “modern” home, but it does give that feel like you are visiting your grandparents. If all you care about is spending quality time with your family and being able to walk to the beach in 3 minutes, this is the place for you! Loved the beach cart to help carry all of our chairs/tent. I slept in the back room and bed was super comfy. No complaints from the rest of my fam on beds either. There was some sand around the home when I arrived, but what can you expect. It’s a beach house. Will definitely be coming back!

We overall enjoyed our stay, although when tried to wash our clothes, the washer would only draw water.When we texted the number to let them know we never heard from anyone and ended up having to go to the laundry mat.

Guys fishing trip

Good location for a fishing trip. Only issue was the TV in livingroom did not work ( ones in bedrooms did). We texted about the problem and was told they would text when on the way to see about it. We never received a text so assume they didn't come. Since it was a fishing trip, we weren't there much so it wasn't a big deal. Overall a very nice, comfortable place with everything needed. Really liked the rustic atmosphere of the place.. Would definitely rent again.

Enjoyed our trip but cleaning crew slacked off

We really enjoyed our stay and were very happy with the house overall and the location. It was a short walk to the beach and a short drive to some really great restaurants. The cart in the shed was very helpful in getting our items to the beach and back home. The outside shower was very nice but possibly adding a curtain around it might add a privacy aspect. This was our first time staying somewhere that did not have wifi but it was a nice way to unplug. We were very disappointed at the cleanliness of the property when we arrived though. The kitchen floor was not swept well and there were many pieces of food and trash underneath the long curtains hanging down. I made the owner aware of this and he offered to send someone out to reclean the floors but at this point I had already done that myself and would have been a waste of time. During our stay I also dropped something and went to look underneath the bed for it and found water bottles and empty chip bags that had not been cleaned up. There was also sand and grit already in the shower when we arrived. The house really was great for our families trip and we definitely would stay again just hope the house would be better cleaned for our stay.
