Carolina Family Tides: On the water, boat slip, steps from beach, and VIEWS!

Family Tides is a 3bd 2.5 bath condo in the desired Captains Quarters community of Carolina Beach. The main level of this getaway was remodeled in early 2024 to include a brand new kitchen with upgraded countertops, flooring, appliances, and more. The living area was also remodeled to include new furniture and updated features. The home comes with a brand-new 30 foot boat slip that includes power and fresh water (bring your boat!). Enjoy the day at the beach or spend time at the community pool that's just steps from the condo (open in May, literally steps away). The ground level has a garage with storage and a grass area to play games. The main level (second floor) includes a half bath, kitchen, living area, and large outdoor deck for watching boats go by in the canal. The second story has a large master bedroom with private deck and full ensuite bathroom. The first guest room has two twin beds. The second has a queen bed. The kitchen comes fully stocked with glassware, pots and pans, cooking utensils, blender, Keurig coffee maker and toaster oven. Each bedroom and the living room have brand new smart TVs. A grassy lawn area out back is perfect for yard games. A hightop dining table and chairs on the large main balcony provide and amazing opportunity to enjoy the sunset over the water.

The home does include linens and some essentials!

The Carolina Beach Boardwalk District (1.4 miles away) has a beautiful boardwalk along the beach with shopping, fair rides, seasonal Thursday night fireworks, ice cream shops and numerous restaurants! Everything from housemade tacos to gormet hotdogs! Freeman park, one of the state's only drive on beaches, is half a mile down Canal Drive. Carolina Beach State Park, with boat launch (and fuel station), hiking and biking trails is 2.5 miles away.

The property is very nicely situated so you have access to the beach and the downtown restaurants/boardwalk/bars. You don't have a beach view but you can sit on one of the back decks and enjoy the canal. The sun doesn't hit the deck till later in the day so it's a nice spot to enjoy your morning coffee. The hosts were very responsive and we enjoyed our stay.

Great location comfortable surroundings

Everything in the listing is accurate. The beach access was less than 5 minutes away. There was a beautiful view of the sunset each night. The decks face in opposite directions so there is always someplace to sit outside. The host provides everything you need. Groceries were within 3 miles. Plenty of restaurants and the Boardwalk was within 2 miles. We really enjoyed our stay.

Beach with boat get a way

This condo was clean and perfect for our beach trip with our friends with a boat. It allowed our husbands to go out fishing at anytime...and we were a short walk to the beach access. The sunsets were beautiful from the back deck! Only downfall was that it was a little too far to walk to the boardwalk and restaurants. Check-in was easy, luckily didn't need to contact the owner. It

Moms getaway with Teens

We enjoyed the property very much. The view of the sound and the quick walk to the beach was great. Could come and go very quickly to get food or use restroom. The pool was wonderful and had two parking spaces. We drove to the board walk, it was safer for us. The property had everything we needed and could let the teens have freedom from the moms!

We had a great time, beautiful sunset!! Very clean and comfortable. Had everything we needed. If you do go when it's cold, it will be hot upstairs, but just open the windows and sliding door while you sleep.

We were able to relax, didn’t spend a lot of time there because we came down from Michigan to do late Christmas with our daughter, son-in-law, and grandson in Wilmington. The kitchen had plenty of pots and pans for cooking, it was quiet, and we were very comfortable. Unfortunately we had to leave early. We hope to return next winter

Software System glitches inhibited our arrival process, but finally got information through great responsiveness from owners, who were always gracious and available. A few issues with sliding doors, appliances and plumbing, but overall a great location with pool, and beach close, fireworks display on beach visible from front porch and amazing sunsets.

The place is beautiful with a million dollar view.

The place is beautiful with a million dollar view. I could sit in the swinging porch bench and look at the Marina all day. The location of the condo was close enough to all the restaurants and shops, but yet far enough from all the congestion. I would definitely recommend this place. Only bad thing i can say about the place is it is a little dated. Other then that awesome place.

Quiet with great views!

Out of all the places we have stayed, this is one of our favorites. The sunset views of the channel were wonderful, especially since it was so quiet. The townhouse is very comfortable and had everything we needed. Maggie and Jonathan were excellent hosts and great with communication. We have a 3 and 4 year old, so we were a bit concerned with the walk to the beach but it was very easy and quick. We were able to ride bikes to the boardwalk, it was so close. We highly recommend this place and will definitely be reaching out to see if it is available the next time we visit Carolina Beach!

Perfect for Family Beach Trip

This rental was great for our family beach trip. Access to the beach was very easy, just one block away. Having the pool right next to the unit was a great way to relax after the beach. Perfect for our family!
