Rockwood est une maison de Tahoe belle et unique qui vous donnera un avant-goût de la riche histoire de la Californie. Sortez sur la grande terrasse et profiter de la sérénité des montagnes et une vue sur le lac filtrée dans un beau quartier. Avec des artefacts occidentaux spéciaux tout au long, cette maison thématique fournit un séjour confortable n'importe quand de l'année! La cuisine surclassée comporte une cuisinière à gaz Wolfe de style commercial et gastronomique sous plafond voûté et beaucoup d'espace de comptoir pour ceux qui aiment cuisiner. Le salon dispose d'un grand poêle à bois, de nombreux sièges moelleux, d'un nouveau téléviseur HD 3D de 50 pouces prêt à Internet et d'un coin lecture / assis sous les escaliers.

Salle de bain complète et une chambre avec lit Queen au niveau d'entrée. 2 lits simples dans le loft à l'étage, 3/4 salle de bain, et à l'arrière de la chambre des maîtres avec King et petite télévision plus alcôve fenêtre de livre de contes.

Grande zone herbeuse pour les enfants, et barbecue au propane pour le chef! Comprend l'utilisation de l'aire de pique-nique Lakeside de l'association du propriétaire et d'une jetée commune pour le chargement et le déchargement de votre bateau. CFIA Beach est à environ un demi mile de la maison.

S'il vous plaît noter, cependant, que cette maison est sur une colline, donc AllWheelDrive / 4wd / chaînes sont fortement recommandés en hiver!

The perfect cabin

We loved everything about this cabin- it was quaintly nestled on a wooded quiet road with some views of the lake if you look through the trees. The layout of the space worked for our family and we appreciated the natural fabric linens on the beds. We also appreciated the unique and authentic decor of the cabin representing a diverse number of indigenous cultures.

Good location and neighborhood.

Fun location in a neighborhood with nice homes among the tall pine trees. Good pet friendly home plenty of space. A lot if interesting history photos and plenty of bear figures through out the home. Kitchen has everything you need. The home is older so you will see plenty of interior wood walls. I did observe some items that should be replaced and I notified the rental company.i will come back here again but hope they take care problems soon.

Just the ticket!

We had a little reunion of old friends and Rockwood cabin was perfect. The house was clean, filled with interesting artwork and comfortable seating. We spent most of our time on the deck enjoying the beautiful weather. The neighborhood is fairly quiet and its not a far walk to the lake. The beds were comfy too! All in all a great pick. We intend to come back next summer for sure!

Terrific Ski Vacation home

What a cute and comfortable home! Very warm and welcoming and old timey. Kitchen well stocked with any essentials, furniture older, but very comfortable, beds were great and decor was heirloom mountain cabin. Rooms are small, but felt cozy rather than cramped. Snow outside was up to the 2nd story...made for dramatic views as well as a feeling of warm coziness inside. You can see the lake a bit through the trees - it was beautiful. Excellent communication with rental company. Plenty of house information available for TV, internet etc. We will happily return. Thank you for a terrific rental.

Quiet quintessential Tahoe Neighborhood

We meet annually somewhere in North Shore for Sweet 16 weekend and this rustic cabin fit our needs perfectly. It was cozy, warm and had all the essentials for the perfect weekend (except for the pillows). Ideal for family gatherings. A long table for games, a TV with all the cable stations, restful couches and beds upstairs where you can grab a few moments of quietude. A front deck to relax on and view the lake.May return next year. Someplace. Same time. Michael

Old school Tahoe charm

This Tahoe cabin is exactly what we hoped for. Lots of charm and comfort without the feel of an over-done Tahoe "theme" rental. The house is comfortable and the site is generous and private. We had a delightfully long & quiet weekend. The management company, Hauserman Rental Group, is supremely professional and helpful. Can't wait to return.

Such a cool spot!

This is probably one of the coolest houses I’ve stayed in, and I’ve stayed in a lot! Beautiful property, with access to beautiful private beach where we got to run around with our dog and have a friend pick us up in their boat thanks to the private dock. The cabin itself is so cozy, with a beautiful balcony where you can see the lake through the trees, and I absolutely LOVED all the native artwork and antiques throughout the house! There were so many interesting pieces around the house... the upstairs bathroom mirror definitely took me by surprise. Would definitely love to stay here again, we had an amazing time.

Beautiful View

This house is in a great location. We enjoyed the view and the private access to a beach. The porch is great for outdoor dining. There are many artifacts in the house, the furniture is comfortable.

Stylish comfort

Wonderful cabin with real “lodge” style! We felt like we were in a a Ralph Lauren commercial! Neighborhood is quiet , and lovely to walk. We had many fierce after dinner games going until midnight around the natural wood dining table. Amazing cooks kitchen, with a wonderful stove, it was a pleasure to stay home and make our meals at the cabin! This one is a beauty!

Small but comfy home...very lived-in. With some rentals you can tell that the owners never stay there. Rockwood, however, is a home where the owners stay. Lots of homey touches (a lot more than in the photos)...the space was very comfortable. The only disappointments were how long it took to warm it up (about 24 hours) and the short showers because of, apparently, a small hot water heater. On a side note, the manager, Hauserman Realty, was very helpful with a small issue.

Beautiful, quaint get-away!

We loved this place! It felt so homey & comfortable. It was fully equipped with everything we could possibly need during our stay. We loved all the interesting & unique decorations throughout the house. It was so fun just taking it all in! The location was perfect for us. We came for skiing, so it was convenient for Squaw & Alpine Meadows. This a perfect house to relax in after a hard, long day of fun!

Great stay at a beautiful location

We stayed in the winter and they are serious about getting up the driveway. There was a day of serious snowfall and our 2 wheel drive van w/ chains only made it half way up the short driveway. But, that was enough to get us off the road and the rest of the stay couldn't have been more perfect.

We had a pleasant stay there. We were indeed surprised by the stuff that they carried in the kitchen. The only disappointment was that the lake was not walkable nor could we see the lake from the cabin. Other than that, it was a very pleasant and comfortable stay.

Wonderful getaway in Tahoe

The perfect mountain getaway: well curated rustic design, great location, and a kitchen fit for cooking. (Seriously, all clad everything and a Wolf range.) beautiful scenery. Fair warning: snow and ice will make the road up and driveway dicey. Very glad we have a 4x4.
