Sleep 4 in a beautifully restored 1-bedroom apartment , one of three identical apartments can accomodate 12 in the hilltop old town of Carmona, directly opposite the 14th-century Parador. A 1-bedroom apartment in the heart of one of Andalusia's most extraordinary hilltop towns. The front door opens onto a quiet old-town street directly opposite the Parador de Carmona a 14th-century Moorish fortress, now one of Spain's most spectacular paradors. At night, the Parador is illuminated. The view, from the shared rooftop terrace, is unforgettable.
Inside, the apartment is calm, light and authentically Andalusian â whitewashed walls, traditional tiled floors, wooden shutters that fold back to let in the morning sun. The bedroom has a comfortable double bed; the living area sleeps two more on a [sofa bed / twin arrangement]. The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering, with a dining table that seats four. One bathroom with shower. Air conditioning throughout â essential in the Andalusian summer, when Carmona's old stone walls keep the apartment a few degrees cooler than the streets outside.
The apartment is one of three within the same building. Each works as a complete, private one-bedroom for a couple or a small family. Guests share two communal spaces: a rooftop terrace with the direct view of the Parador, and a ground floor lounge â a quiet, beautifully kept Andalusian sitting room ideal for an evening drink or a slower morning coffee.
Carmona itself is the kind of place travellers tell their friends about for years. A walled hilltop town with Roman, Moorish and Christian layers visible on every street. Whitewashed houses, narrow cobbled lanes, palaces, courtyards, tapas bars where the locals still outnumber the tourists. Seville is 35 minutes by car â close enough for a day trip in either direction, far enough that Carmona feels like a different world.

Carmona's old town is one of the most atmospheric in Andalusia â a walled hilltop town with Roman and Moorish foundations, MudĂ©jar churches, palaces and a network of cobbled streets that have barely changed in centuries. The apartment sits in the historic centre, opposite the Parador, which means everything is on foot. The Plaza de San Fernando, with its tapas bars and cafĂ©s, is a five-minute walk. The Roman Necropolis and the AlcĂĄzar de la Puerta de Sevilla are both nearby. The town's main viewpoint â looking out over the Vega de Carmona â is a short walk in the opposite direction.
For dinner: La Yedra, El Molino de la Romera and Restaurante San Fernando are all walkable and locally loved. The Parador itself has a fine-dining restaurant with the same view you have from your apartment, and is happy to take non-guests.
Getting Around:
From Seville: 35 minutes by car (A-4 motorway). Parking is available nearby in the old town â we'll send instructions before arrival.
From Seville airport (SVQ): 25 minutes by car. Taxi approximately âŹ40â50, Uber/Cabify available.
From Madrid: AVE high-speed train to Seville (2hr 30), then 35 minutes by car.
Carmona itself is best explored on foot â the old town is compact and the streets are too narrow for driving anyway. For day trips, a car is useful: Seville (35 min), CĂłrdoba (1hr), the sherry country around Jerez (1hr 15).

The other two can be booked separately for couples or small families travelling with you â or all three can be taken together for exclusive use of the entire property, sleeping up to 12 guests across three apartments, with private use of the rooftop terrace and lounge.
