The location is wonderful. We walked to every dinner. The en-suite baths are so nice for multiple couples or families. Do note that one of the suites is accessed through the primary suite or through a private door, limiting its usability to certain ages/relations. But the management team was lovely and everything was easy and perfect!

Best Spot in Downtown Carmel

Our second stay in this penthouse that sits above the toy store and other shops and a wine room. Title of the property of "unmatched location" is spot on. We were central to everything, whether it was a 15 second walk to the grocery store, or going to coffee, wine tasting rooms, restaurants, galleries, etc., everything is convenient. Bike rentals were also right around the corner. Even though central to it all, it is still a quiet location at night. Clean property, excellent very well-equipped kitchen for cooking, and a wonderful balcony and barbecue, as well. everything is set up for a perfectly relaxing stay at this location. Will be back again!

Amazing place and locatiin

This three bedroom house was a great retreat for my wife, two teenagers and I. Walkable to the beach. Is in the heart of downtown Carmel. We loved the spaciousness of the main living area and outdoor patio. Also the parking garage and elevator directly to the unit was awesome! The property managers were responsive and helpful. Strongly recommend!

Great Carmel-by-the-Sea in town location

Wonderful property in a great location for those wanting to be in the golden rectangle. We walked to wonderful dinners every night, enjoyed shopping, savored the great weather, and used the outdoor patio extensively. Everything was wonderful and would recommend the property with one warning. It can be noisy, given the location. Not the owner's fault, it is what it is. You generally need to open the windows to keep the temp bearable, so you will hear every word of the patrons of the wine bar below and you will have music coming from Barmel across the street on Thurs-Sat nights until 2 am. We got used to it, used fans to cover the noise at night, and enjoyed the property for what it was - beautiful and well appointed in town home.

Perfect location

The property was perfect for our family of 5. The location is perfect for exploring Carmel by the Sea. The shops, restaurants and beach are all an easy walk. We like to cook some of our meals and the kitchen was well stocked.

Keep this VRBO a secret.

Cleanest one I have ever rented. Appointed with everything you would need, however, walking location is so great we ate out every meal. A grocery store literally across the street. Perfect for travelers who arrived by air. The penthouse itself was spacious for 4-6 people. Gorgeous wrap around deck. Elevator a nice touch for getting bags up to penthouse. I hate giving it 5 stars because I selfishly want it to stay a secret as I intend to rent it often. Thank you for a great visit.

Perfect location

Our stay was exactly what we needed it to be. Great location in the middle of everything. We were there for our son's wedding. The space was perfect for having the boys over beforehand. The kitchen and bar have everything you need. We did use the washer a few times, great amenity. Would stay there again in a heartbeat. My one recommendation is to have a full legnth mirror somewhere.

The apartment is very centrally located and it’s spacious. The living room is large and there is a piano. However, the bedrooms and bathrooms layout is odd and somewhat inconvenient. Also, the view is obstructed. The steps outside of the 3rd bedroom were filthy- very dusty, with tree leaves and spider webs. Some of the dishes (little wooden bowls) were dirty and sticky.

Best friends in Carmel

This property is beautiful! Loved parking in garage and walking to everything. Felt like we were in Europe with the views of the rooftops around us. Property was spotless and comfortable - we even cooked one evening as the kitchen was beautiful and so well stocked. Property managements very responsive- small item needed repair and was fixed within a few hours. Highly recommend .

Great downtown luxury penthouse

Really great downtown location. Beautifully appointed with lots of outdoor deck and BBQ area to entertain. Great cooks kitchen. Can't get any closer to downtown than this. Underground garage is nice but be careful with low clearance sports cars, tight squeeze down the steep driveway. Will definately come back in the future.

Very Special Place

We stayed in this property for our son’s wedding weekend. I have to say everything about this property was wonderful and so well thought out. The kitchen was a delight to cook in, the living room was very comfortable, the bedrooms and baths had so many amenities with excellent quality bedding and towels. We spent a lot of time relaxing on the patio. The underground parking space was great to have as was the elevator that took us right up to the property. The location could not be beat. Alex and his team were wonderful communicators and made sure we had everything we needed. An incredibly special place for a very special weekend. We will definitely be back.

Great Place in a Great Location

Absolute luxury. Well kept property. Everything working. Everything clean. Has its own elevator. The best location and on top of a Toy Store!! Walk downstairs and be in the heart of Carmel by the sea. The downside-driving under the property, not easy in anything the size of a Tahoe/Expedition. But once down there so much room and safety to unpack.
