Carlsbad's beaches are incredible -- there's surfable surf, soft sand and so much access the beach. With an upper and lower paved walk running miles along the coastline, you'll have trouble deciding whether to run or walk, go to the beach or lunch or shopping, or just stay in and people watch! Carlsbad is home to shopping and great restaurants. There's also Legoland and the Museum of Making Music and the farmers market every Wednesday afternoon. San Diego is close by with its wealth of attractions including San Diego Zoo/ Wild Animal Park, Balboa Park, USS Midway, craft beer scene, wine tasting, and so much more.
You'll have two parking spaces (driveway) and the garage may be available (please check before booking) if you choose to drive; otherwise, Carlsbad station is serviced by the SD Coaster as well as Amtrak. San Diego's public transit also runs along Carlsbad Blvd. Of course, Uber, Lyft, and taxi service are available as well.

RENTAL TERMS AND CONDITIONSÂ

"My People". Shall include myself, my spouse, legal partner, guests, invitees, licensees, children, wards, heirs, assigns, personal representatives and estate, if any.Â
NO REFUNDS - Even the best or newest home has equipment that may occasionally malfunction and cannot be guaranteed operational 100% of the time. We promise to act immediately to remedy any issues, however, we do not relocate or issue refunds due to malfunctioning equipment or any other guest dissatisfaction or due to construction noise or any other items out of our control, unless the home is considered uninhabitable.
- All rentals with 28+ nights require a rental agreement signed naming and identifying all adult occupants (must present valid ID).
- Primary renter must be over the age of 25, have a fully verified profile and previous positive reviews inside Airbnb. - Host may request a photocopy of renter's ID for verification before check-in. - This is a private property and the host reserves right to access the property at any time to perform maintenance repairs necessary or requested by the renter.
Pet Policy: -Only one adult dog allowed (up to 20lbs) per stay -Dog must be house trained and cannot be left alone or on furniture -Pet fee: $100 non refundable -Guests assumes full responsibility for all and any damage caused by the pets during the stay

Late Checkout Policy Guests must check out by the designated checkout time specified in the rental agreement. Late checkouts without prior approval will incur fees to cover costs including, but not limited to, waiting times for cleaning crews, canceled or delayed cleaning appointments, hardships on arriving guests (e.g., delayed check-ins or compensation), additional wear and tear on the property, and increased utility usage (e.g., electricity, water, or HVAC). The fees, based on the duration past the checkout time, are as follows: âą Less than 1 hour: 10% of the nightly rate or $100, whichever is greater. âą 1-2 hours: 15% of the nightly rate or $250, whichever is greater. âą More than 2 hours: Full nightly rate. To avoid fees, guests are encouraged to coordinate with us in advance for late checkout requests. Approved late checkouts are subject to availability and may incur additional charges as agreed upon. These fees are designed to compensate for disruptions to property turnover and operational costs, and we will provide documentation (e.g., cleaning schedules, guest complaints) upon request to ensure transparency.
Additional Cleaning Policy Guests are expected to leave the property in a reasonably clean condition, consistent with normal use. Any cleaning required beyond what is considered normal or reasonable, as determined by the property management, will result in an additional cleaning fee of $100 per hour. This fee covers costs such as extended cleaning times or specialized cleaning needs. Examples of excessive cleaning needs include, but are not limited to, excessive trash, stains or spills requiring professional treatment, pet hair in non-pet-friendly units, or other conditions requiring significant labor. We will make every effort to accurately reflect the additional work needed and the time required to complete it, providing documentation (e.g., photos, cleaning logs) upon request to ensure transparency.
Important Fee Disclosure for Long-Term Stays (30+ Days): Should this property be reserved for 28 days or more, we reserve the right to apply additional monthly fees to cover certain ongoing expenses (eg utilities) not included in the standard nightly rate. These may include, but are not limited to: âą Gas and electricity âą Water and sewer âą Trash and recycling âą Internet and streaming services âą Other utility or maintenance surcharges applicable to the home which will be known prior to the time of booking These fees may be assessed as either: âą A flat monthly fee, or âą A fee calculated as up to 5% of the monthly rent. Such fees may be collected directly through the Airbnb platform or invoiced separately as permitted by Airbnb policy. For estimation purposes, please assume an additional fee equal to 5% of the monthly rent unless otherwise specified in advance. By confirming your reservation, you acknowledge and agree to these terms.
This Short Term Rental Agreement is between AIR CONCIERGE INC. (herein referred to as âManagerâ or âProperty Managerâ) on behalf of and in accord with the Property Owner ("Owner") and you as Guest (or âOccupantâ or âRenterâ) of the date set forth on the reservation details confirmation noted on the confirmation which shall be received by the Parties via email as well as provided in the Airbnb.com software.  For good and valuable consideration, the sufficiency of which is acknowledged, the parties hereby agree as follows:
SMOKING: A $1000 fine will be charged to Occupant if there is any evidence of smoking inside or outside of the property within a 20â radius of the property.
House was just right for our family of 4. Property was clean and tidy. Gated grass yard was perfect for the kids to run around in and to park our bikes. We appreciated being right by the bike path making it super easy to get right downtown.
We had such a wonderful stay! The space was cozy, charming, and incredibly comfortable. The kitchen was fully functional, and the backyard was a lovely spot to relax. We felt truly spoiled being able to walk to the beach and Carlsbad Village every day. An amazing experience all around!
Our trip started out great, the house was perfect for our group of 5 people traveling to Carlsbad. We asked for an early check-in and the host accommodated us stating their goal was for us to have a 5-star experience.
After our first night, there was an odor that we started noticing in certain parts of the home. It intensified over the duration of our trip and on the 2nd to last day, the smell was absolutely horrible and caused major concern as to what was causing the smell. There were dozens of flies throughout the apartment and we felt like it was unsafe for us to stay at the home for another night. We ended up getting a hotel for that night due to the smell and the flies.
After sharing the state of events with the host, the only update we got from the host was that the smell was not coming from the AC unit, which was a very vague and unhelpful update. They never offered to remedy the situation and never responded to our last message asking for some sort of refund for the inconvenience and acknowledgment of the issue.
I would not recommend this place.
This was an absolute dream for our family. We are a family of 5 and the kids had enough space to play and sleep comfortably. We enjoyed dinner outside and especially the short walk to the beach. We brought the kids sand toys and the heavy duty wagon thatâs provided worked perfectly to haul them. Having laundry on-site was very helpful as was the outside shower. We enjoyed not only the proximity to the beach, but to Legoland and San Diego as well.
It was clean, the beds were comfortable, the neighborhood was quiet, and there was plenty of everything from plates to towels to toiletries.
We will definitely stay here again and we would recommend this to everyone.

This house for perfect for our family of 4. It was clean with nice beds, laundry, beach items and well stocked with supplies. With just a short walk to the crosswalk and stairs down to the beach and proximity to the Village this location was great for our family. The private yard was an added bonus in the quiet neighborhood. Weâll stay again!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! The property was very clean, well maintained, and well stocked with linens, kitchen ware and beach toys. We loved being able to walk to the beach or hang out in the private yard. Would definitely recommend and hope to stay here again.
My husband and I stayed at this home for one week. It is a great house! Loved the location! Walked to the beach every day. 5 minutes away. Nice shower, nice beds and really nice kitchen. I would definitely stay again!
We had a lovely week at this house! The neighbourhood was quiet and safe, just a short walk to the beach and a longer stroll into Carlsbad Village. We appreciated the access to beach items (chairs/umbrella etc).

This home was really nice. It was close to the beach, stores and all the restaurants. Our family drove from Arizona to California to see our Marine for Thanksgiving. It has a great yard for dogs (needs a front fence along the road instead of just tree shrubs and a partial fence to keep the dog fully in the yard.) Spacious home that is really nicely decorated!
Our family stayed here over the weekend for a staycation. The property was clean and fully stocked with towels, dishes, grill, cooking utensils, washer/dryer, etc. It had a nice size front yard and plenty of street parking. Few cons: property is right by the train tracks so you will hear the train go by occasionally. Also since there was no AC (which is fine because the beach air kept the house nice and cool), but forced us to keep the windows open, hence the loud train noise. Overall, we had a good stay and I recommend it for those who arenât as bothered by train noise.
