The characteristic village of Carloforte is the only inhabited center of San Pietro, an island of the small archipelago of Sulcis. The beaches near the village of Carloforte are the most famous of the island and very different from each other: some sandy, others covered with pebbles, others rocky. The nearest beach to the center of Carloforte is Il Giunco, another beach near the center is Guidi, a beach of fine sand alternating with dark rocks. For those who love mixed sandy and pebble beaches the recommended beach is Girin Beach.

The island of San Pietro is not very large and you can drive around in a day. So it’s easy to get to each of its beaches from Carloforte. Along the west coast of the island we find Spiaggia La Caletta and Spiaggia della Conca, while along the southern coast to visit the beach of Chinolle, the beach of Lucchese, Spiaggia La Bobba and Spiaggia di Guidi. Other beaches not to be missed around Carloforte are: Punta Nera, Golfo del Becco, Calavinagra and Golfo della Mezzaluna (the latter can only be reached by sea). If you love diving not to be missed: Punta delle oche and Nasca are two caves north of the island ideal for divers.

Main attractions:

- Giunco beach: 11 minutes by car;

- Conca beach: 18 minutes by car;

- Port of Carloforte: 6 minutes on foot;

In less than 5 minutes by car you can reach all the main services: bars, restaurants, supermarkets and pharmacy.

- From Cagliari Elmas Airport Mario Mameli: you can reach the apartment thanks to the CFCA A/R Shuttle transport to be booked by phone, about 20 euros each way. Carloforte Harbour is 2.1 km from the property.

- DELCOMAR ferries depart from Portovesme and Calasetta, which take 40 and 30 minutes to reach the island of Carloforte; from Portovesme the departures of the ferries for Carloforte are only diurnal and preview the boarding of the vehicles while from Calasetta the service is both day and night. Carloforte Harbour is only 2.1 km from the property.

- If you are travelling by car, you can park free of charge on site: an uncovered parking space is available (also suitable for SUVs).
