Close to the border city of Carlisle the perfect location for exploring not only the wonderful Cumbrian countryside but only a short trip over the border into Scotland. With quiet country lanes surrounding you, Chestnuts is ideal for cycling and walking particularly as Hadrian’s Wall passes by so why not wander along some of this iconic landmark.

The stunning Lake District National Park is truly not to be missed while staying at Chestnuts and is only a short drive away where you can enjoy the majestic hills and stunning lakes.
