The owners will have thoughtfully provided a welcome pack containing tea, coffee, milk, biscuits and bottle of fizz upon your arrival. There will also be dressing gowns and slippers waiting for you!



Hethersgill is a small village perfectly located for exploring the Lake District National Park, the Solway Coast, Scottish Borders and the Eden Valley, all within a ½ hour drive. The border city of Carlisle is only 10 miles away with its many and varied attractions including the castle and cathedral not to mention shopping! For retail therapy however a trip just across the border to Gretna Green is a must. The attractions are endless in the area, a must is a visit to Birdoswald Roman Fort on the path of the world-famous Hadrian’s Wall, or Talkin Tarn where you can go boating, coarse fishing and walking. Not forgetting the kids, who will love a day at Walby Farm Park! Whether it be walking, cycling, sightseeing return to Highgate and relax enjoying the dark skies from your very own hot tub.
