The Neighborhood:

Nestled on the peaceful Gwent Levels, Laurel Cottage sits between the historic village of Redwick and the nearby town of Caldicot in southeast Wales. It feels wonderfully rural – wide open fields, big skies and quiet lanes – yet you’re only a short drive from major routes and Severn Tunnel Junction station.



A real highlight nearby is Caldicot Castle and Country Park, a Norman medieval fortress set in around 55 acres of parkland, with wooded trails, picnic spots and regular events – perfect for history lovers and families alike. Redwick itself is a charming little village with an ancient church and access to the Gwent Levels and Wales Coast Path, offering flat scenic walks past reens, farmland and estuary views – ideal for walking, cycling and bird-watching..
