The Space:
Heritage Retreat consists of an open-plan living space including a kitchen with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge with ice box, dishwasher, a dining area, and sitting area with woodburning stove and Smart TV. Hot tub. The bedrooms consist of two doubles, along with a shower room. Outside, there is an enclosed front decking with furniture and off-road parking for three cars. Highchair and travel cot available. One well-behaved pet, but sorry, no smoking. Please note that, for safety reasons, dogs listed under the Dangerous Dogs Act are not permitted on this site. Pub 0.2 miles, beach 0.7 miles, shop 1.5 miles. WiFi, fuel, power, starter pack for woodburning stove, bed linen, and towels inc. in rent. Heritage Retreat is a homely base for an escape to South Wales with all the family. Note: Steps up to property, please take care. Note: No children under the age of 16. Note: This property is located on an adults-only campsite and is not suitable for children under the age of 16. Note: No puppies under the age of 1. Note: For safety reasons, dogs listed under the Dangerous Dogs Act are not permitted on this site. Please note: This property can also be booked in conjunction with its sister property (Refs: 1139743 and 1139749), making it an ideal choice for family gatherings, group holidays, or special occasions where additional space and flexibility are required. Important notice regarding EV charging: Please be advised that these properties do not currently support electric vehicle (EV) charging. The use of EV charging equipment at the property is strongly prohibited, including charging via domestic sockets, as this breaches the terms of the booking. Unauthorised EV charging also invalidates the propertyâs insurance, which is in place to protect both guests and owners. For safety and compliance reasons, guests must not attempt to charge electric vehicles at the property under any circumstances. Week long stays only over Christmas.

Monknash is a charming, historic village situated close to the Heritage Coast in the Vale of Glamorgan. The village offers an idyllic location for those wishing to indulge in the stunning local beaches, with options including the beautiful Monknash Beach, and a little further afield, Dunraven Bay, Southerndown, St Donats Beach, Traeth Mawr and Traeth Bach. Monknash houses an award-winning pub, The Plough & Harrow, where guests can enjoy a hearty meal and a glass of their favorite beverage, and is also close to Wick, where you will find a convenience store and a greater selection of pubs and eateries. There is so much to be explored in the local area, beginning with a fantastic amount of castles and museums, ideal for history lovers. Options include Donat's Castle and Arts Centre, Dimlands Castle, Dunraven Castle, and many more. The historic towns of Llantwit Major and Cowbridge are well worth a visit, boasting independantr stores to be browsed at your leisure. The South Wales Karting Centre makews for an action-packed afternoon, whilst guests can try out horse riding at the Riding and Trekking Centre. Head over to Barry Island and enjoy a day spent at Barry Island Beach, Barry Island Pleasure Park, or try out watersports at one of the local facilities.
