Perfect for families, friends, or romantic escapes, this property features five bedrooms & a stunning walled garden where children and pets can roam freely. A perfect home-from-home for those seeking sea air and space to breathe.
Step into the laid-back charm of West Cottage by Salt & City Stays, where boho character meets homely comfort. Designed for slow mornings, sea air, and spending time together, the cottage blends thoughtful design with a sense of easeâhidden doors, vintage finds, and cosy corners make it a place that instantly feels like home. Whether youâre gathered in the kitchen after a day at the beach or watching the sun dip from the garden, this is a space to unwind, reconnect, and exhale.
The cottage sleeps up to 10 guests across 5 bedrooms:
- Bedroom 1: Double bed with sea views
- Bedroom 2: Double bed with sea views
- Bedroom 3: Double bed
- Bedroom 4: Double bed
- Bedroom 5: Twin beds (ideal for children or friends)
All bedrooms are upstairs, so please note the house is not suitable for those with limited mobility.
At the heart of the home is a well-stocked kitchen with an AGA, pantry staples, and everything you need to cook a feast. Thereâs a separate utility room for laundry, a dishwasher, washing machine, and plenty of space for drying beach gear and wetsuits.
The living room is made for relaxed evenings with a TV, DVD player, PlayStation, a huge DVD library, and a cupboard full of board games for all ages.
Outside, the large, enclosed walled garden is a true highlightâa sun-soaked, secure space thatâs perfect for children, pets, and long, lazy afternoons.
We welcome one small, well-behaved dog, but please keep them downstairs only.
Guests have full, private access to the entire cottage and the enclosed walled garden, which is equipped with a fire pit, BBQ, picnic bench, and comfortable outdoor seatingâideal for relaxed evenings or sunny afternoons.
Niamh, the owner of West Cottage, is available throughout your stay. Additionally, our small, dedicated team of four at Salt & City Stays will ensure all your needs are met up to the point of check-in. From answering enquiries to providing recommendations, we are here to assist. You may hear from any of us leading up to your stay.
We also have a caretaker who lives in the converted stable block behind the property and is also available to help with any questions about the property.
