The Space:
The Sea Breeze Retreat is situated in the beating heart of Capitola with its scenic wharf, charming shops, award-winning restaurants, and assorted pubs. It will be professionally cleaned and sanitized before you arrive!

Come enjoy the sunny deck with a view of Capitola Village!  The apartment features 2 bedrooms; one with a queen size bed and the second bedroom with a bunk bed, full size on the bottom and twin on the top.   The kitchen is fully equipped and there is a washer and dryer.  The 2nd story deck features a gas grill and seating area for the whole gang to congregate.

Also included is one designated parking space that fits a standard-size car.

Capitola is a historic little coastal town with plenty of surf spots, boutique shops, and a whole host of commercial and entertainment outlets for young and old alike. The town is flourishing yet retains its distinctive and quaint character, beloved by families, dog walkers, surfers, students, and young professionals.

Positioned on the pleasant Pacific coastal strip and the bustling, booming beach zone between Santa Cruz and Pleasure Point to its north and all the way south to Aptos and the Rio del Mar state beach, the Capitola Village Seashell Sanctuary offers the quintessential California surf trip and all the pleasures and joys of this thriving bay!

There is so much to do here with access to amazing surf spots for beginners to advanced, wide open spaces for swimming, paths for long romantic walks and Capitola Beach for soaking up the sun.

Great location and unit in Capitola. I would definitely stay again. Walking distance to beach and restaurants. The only thing I would change is the primary bedrooms bed as it is pretty outdated and if you are a light sleeper it can be a bit challenging. Other then that this unit has everything you need and you can't beat its proximity to all you need to access in Santa Cruz.

Lovely retreat by the beach

My family has always loved coming to Capitola, and our stay at the Sea Breeze Retreat made our latest trip a wonderful experience being so close to the wharf and the shops and restaurants. The apartment was great, with everything we needed.

Surf Getaway

Location was little noisy 1st nite. Neighbor across street outside partying late. Parking space unit A very small. could not get in+ out car without backing into street. And : I am a not a big person_ had to turn sideways get into car. Need to inform future guests of parking space!! Kitchen dishes + utensils limited.

Fall Break respite from the heat!

We had a wonderful stay at your property. It was the perfect break from the inland heatwave. Perfectly located in the neighborhood within walking distance of the village shops, restaurants, and the beach. And, literally steps away from a small market that has snacks, and a wide variety of home goods in case something was unintentionally omitted from your packing list! We spent a day with friends in Santa Cruz, visited the quaint Capitola Museum and beach with some local family, and enjoyed several village/neighborhood eateries: Pizza My Heart, Britannia Arms, Trestles, Margaritaville (recommend the Quesabaria Tacos), Gayles (for lunch and breakfast) and tasted fresh brewed Kombucha, beer, and root beer at Capitola Tap House (37 taps total). We also shopped at your local Target and Raleys and made some breakfasts and snacks at your place. Thank you, felt like a home away from home; relaxing with plenty of beach time every day. We were there for 5 nights, but felt like we got a 2 week vacation out of it. The only challenge we encountered was parking. Parking was difficult as the space provided is very narrow (we have a minivan, and we had a second car join us halfway through our stay due to work schedule conflicts). If possible, it would be great to allow parking in front of the garage -by permit or something?? for renters only- just a suggestion as parking was the only obstacle we encountered. Thanks! We will return

It was clean, spacious and exactly as advertised, which seemed almost too good to be true! We had a wonderful time there. It was very close to the beach, but tucked in a quiet neighborhood away from the hustle and bustle of the quaint but vibrant downtown. As advertised, the parking space was tight, but a medium size SUV could fit in nicely, and any parking in Capitola is a big bonus!!

Art & Wine

We book in the Village for ease of access to the Capitola Art & Wine Festival. Our second year with this property and we loved it. The amenities were great even though we didn’t get a chance to use the bbq like we wanted. Our fault. Well, the wine’s fault, really. The bathroom sinks drained really slowly and the showers had strong enough to pressure wash old concrete. But those were minor issues and we will consider booking this same suite next year!

Great house, great location! Just park and walk everywhere, you don't want to be driving anywhere in Capitola there is zero parking. We love this area and come as often as possible.

Perfect spot!

Ideal location to be a tourist and a local. The house is super clean and sparely decorated to slide right in and make it your own. The deck is blasting with sun all day, if it is out. Parking in the village is pretty amazing to have

Great location, great space

Myself, my son, my father and brother did a quick getaway from the East Bay. The location is excellent. Once you park the car, you never use it again to get to restaurants or the beach. The place itself is very clean, has just what you need to relax for a couple days just a few blocks from the ocean.
