The Cottage, Rusted Route Farms

You won’t forget your time in this romantic, memorable place. The Cottage at Rusted Route Farms is a 1 bedroom beautiful suite on an old 10 acre farm history galore. A picturesque pond is settled next to The Market our onsite Restaurant that will be serving food and drinks to be ready on your arrival or for a certain time that you choose. The over 125 year old barn has been renovated to keep the history alive and is located here on site. This retreat is located right outside Cape Girardeau.

The Cottage is located up a flight of stairs and has One bedroom. The couch does fold down to a small bed that will sleep a total of 4 people. Two People in our Queen bed in the bed room and 2 on our small couch in the living room.

The bathroom is located in the Bedroom and has a toilet in its own private room with a door. The bathroom also included a very nice large tub and walk in shower with glass doors.

We have a full Kitchen with stove, oven, hood vent, dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator, Keurig with Coffee pods, along with your standard cooking and eating utensils, pots, pans, and dishes.

We have a washer and dryer in the unit as well.

There is wifi and two televisions. One located in our living room above our electric fireplace and the other in our bedroom. We have Netflix downloaded on the televisions. They are smart tv so you can watch whatever programs you are subscribed to as well.

There are three barstools at the island in the kitchen and a table with 4 seats in the dining area. A comfy couch, chairs, and bean bags also grace the living room.

Tons of windows run the entire length of the back of the Cottage that are off trees and a small creek. A spring fed pond allows fishing access and green spaces for a lovely picnic. We have plenty of parking with close access to The Cottage.

The whole upstairs is the Suite. The entrance is the foyer on the ground level which is located of the side of the building

We offer food and drinks with 48 hour notice and can also help with special request if possible.

Our cottage is tucked behind a picturesque view. We are 5 mins from Cape Girardeau and Jackson and less than 2 mins from a Dollar Store.

The is located on a property that host events. You are in your own separate part of the property but other guest might be present in parking lot and at one of the two other homes we have on the 10 acre property. Some events might go late at night but are located in the barn on the other side of property. Parking is located right outside The Cottage and that is the parking of the Barn and Marketplace.
