For the boaters, there is plenty of dock to tie up at, and a Captain's walk around the electric boat lift. If you want to fish you can step on the dock and wet a line. Sailing or motoring from the dock to the expanse of the river is 5 minutes at idle speed. When the river opens up, our playground starts, with your choice of craft, boat, canoe, kayak or paddle board. This is an amazing oasis with solitude in the middle of a magnificent neighborhood! It's not unusual for manatees, dolphin, snook, tarpon, mangrove snappers and countless other species to swim right along your dock! Bald Eagles perch nearby, keeping an eye out for an easy fish lunch.

Once your boat is up to speed, Sanibel Island beckons just 20 minutes away or 30 min by car. There, you can enjoy beautiful beaches, the Sanibel lighthouse and some of the best shelling in the world. Get there early and you'll find the shells that have become exposed from the previous tide, truly amazing finds. Bring the beach chairs, cooler and umbrella and set up a relaxing day at the beach! Ding Darling National Wildlife Preserve is there for exploring nature, bird watching and to use the walking or biking trails. Ding Darling has an amazing display of waterfowl and biodiversity. Keep traveling north and you'll find more adventures awaiting on Captiva Island and beyond!
