The Hyde Away-Beautiful newer home exquisitely decorated on a fresh water canal.

Welcome to paradise! Open the front doors of this modern newer home and take in the view of the beautiful pool. Enjoy the sunrise on the front sitting area with your coffee or mimosas or view the Florida sunset on the lanai. Close to shopping, restaurants, nightlife of downtown Cape Coral and only a 30 minute drive to the beach. You'll find yourself wanting to extend your stay almost immediately.

This single family home is located in a central residential area in the SW of Cape Coral. This home features fun equipment like beach and pool equipment, board, card & bag games. On rainy days, you may also watch TV. You'll feel like home in our home right from the very first moment.

This villa offers you over 2,000 sqft 3 bedrooms & study which can be used as a 4th bedroom as well as an open kitchen. Washer and dryer are also available for your convenience. More than that, the villa is located on a fresh water canal. Stores for daily needs like Walmart and Publix are just minutes away. Probably, you won't need much more, because in the villa you have all the amenities you need for your stay. You can prepare great food either in the kitchen or the BBQ grill on the lanai.

The Living Area
The large sliding glass doors of the living room not only provide access to the lanai and pool, but also provides plenty of light. The living area has a sizeable, comfortable sitting area for a relaxed TV, board or card game evening. The large, internet-enabled TV is perfect for your entertainment experience.

Lamps next to the sofa provide perfect light to read a book or to create a cozy atmosphere.

The Kitchen

The kitchen offers state of the art appliances. The fridge serves filtered water, ice cubes or crushed ice at the touch of a button. The large stove and oven are ready to prepare delicious dishes and the dishwasher will clean the dishes while you relax in the pool. You will also find smaller appliances like a blender, toaster, waffle maker and sufficient quantity of dishes and table ware.

The master bedroom features a king-size bed for relaxed nights. The attached master bath is only accessible thru the master bedroom. So you'll not have to share it with anyone else.

The other two bedrooms have a queen and full bed respectively. These two rooms are located right next to the second bathroom, which has direct access to the pool area.

The den/study can also be used as an additional bedroom that has a futon that converts to a full size bed. All of the rooms are equipped with flat screen TV's.

Heated Pool and Lanai

The lanai and the pool area are accessible from the living area, the master bedroom and the guest bathroom. A large table and gas grill awaits you along with a seating area with a TV. Ideal for relaxing (barbeque) evening or romantic sunsets.

Outdoor and Dock
If you can't make it to the beach, just enjoy the sunset on the dock. 2 Adirondack chairs invite you to linger and enjoy the view. The property has a monthly maintenance agreement for pest control. This aids in the control of mosquitoes, no-see-ums & any other kind of pests outside.

Smoking and Pets
Smoking is prohibited inside the house but there are ashtrays provided for smoking outside the premises. A small dog 20 lbs or less is permitted.

House was warm and welcoming. Spotlessly clean, comfortable and furnishings were excellent. House is as exactly as pictured on line. Has everything you need. In a very nice neighborhood. Heated pool was so enjoyable. One of the very best houses we have ever rented, and we travel a lot. Would HIGHLY recommend. Hope to return.

Our second time to stay at this home as it is one of the best we have found. Location, neighborhood, and home features are all great. We had to change our stay visit dates a couple of times and communications were returned almost immediately. Hope to stay again in the future.

The Hyde Away is spectacular! The home is spacious, very well maintained (CLEAN), in a great location, and has all the amenities to truly make you feel at home. The host even left us chocolates and fresh flowers, which was over the top and soooo appreciated! The pool was amazing and definitely a highlight of our stay. We didn't catch any fish in the canal but it was still very peaceful to sit down there and watch all the birds and ducks that frequent the area. We did go to Lowe's and purchase some plastic fencing and zip ties to prevent our little hunters (beagles) from jumping in the canal; chasing after the ducks! Worked out perfectly. The rest of the yard is completely fenced and very well maintained. The entire property is just gorgeous - we did not want to leave!

Spring Break 2025

Beautiful place. We would rent again. The pool is fantastic. We loved that it was heated and clean. We have stayed at other places where the pool was not heated and it made it difficult to swim. This pool was always heated to 88 degrees and we could swim morning or night. There was even an exterior bathroom door that led to the pool. Nice touch by leaving fresh flowers. We did some business work from the property and the internet was good and there was plenty of room for two adults to set up shop. The property has everything needed for dining in and also close access to several nice restaurants.

Perfect house for a family

This house was perfect for a family. We created some everlasting memories while enjoying the pool, yard and the open concept living area made it perfect for our family. Loved our stay!

I almost don't want to say what a great place this was to stay in fear that it will fill up when I want to go back! Communication was quick and friendly, the house is gorgeous and extremely clean and the pool truly is heated the entire time. We didn't have to wait for it to warm like sometimes happens and frankly, the pool is the focal point of our stay so it matters more than some other things. The house had all of the amenities that we could need along with life jackets, fishing equipment, bikes, kayaks and so much more. Not to mention the house is on a canal so you could actually fish a little or just sit by the water on a warm day. The beds were comfortable and We truly loved everything about our stay here.

Great Home

We had a wonderful vacation in Cape Coral. The home was beautiful and I'm so glad I booked this house. I am picky when I stay at VRBOs and this was a perfect pick. The house is new and decorated very nice. It was very clean and that is the first thing I look for when reading reviews. The pool was beautiful and we enjoyed it every day. We did not use the outside TV, but it was a nice feature. We used the kayaks and bikes one day which was fun. We went to the beach twice so it was nice having beach chairs and a cooler to use. Rita was a wonderful host and got back to me promptly when I had questions. I never had to contact her once we got to the house because it had everything we needed and we had no issues with anything. We appreciated the welcome basket, flowers and candy. If you are looking for a great house, book this one! reading

Best VRBO rental we have found

Already made our reservation to return next year and stay longer. That tells you a lot. We typically use VRBO or similar rentals 6-8 times a year for many years now. This home ranks at the top. Beautifully appointed inside with lovely backyard and pool to enjoy. Included all the toys you could think of. Located in a great neighborhood where we walked our small dog daily. We had one question about pool operation and the host answered within minutes. Only negative we can come up with is that the microwave is pretty small, but that’s about it.

Stunning property

This is a stunning property that's well looked after. Everything felt brand new. The kitchen was so well stocked, and the hosts were even kind enough to leave us with hand soap and necessities. The pool was beautiful, we enjoyed lounging on the floaties enjoying the sunshine. The kayaks were a lovely surprise! We had fun kayaking down the canal and enjoying the wildlife. A lot of thought has gone into this house, and it's very well managed that you want for nothing. Location was great, everything you need nearby and great beaches not far. Thanks for such a lovely stay!

Loved it!

We really enjoyed our stay at this property! We spent most of our time on the patio and in the pool, which was perfect! Enjoyed fishing from the dock on the channel! Loved the amount of beach towels and chairs that were provided! The additional fans in the rooms were also a bonus! The home was clean and the host was very responsive when my questions were asked. We enjoyed a dinner at RumRunners on the water and close to the home!

No complaints! Had a great time.

Everything went very well. Day 1 we decided to stay at the house all day to enjoy the pool and everything was great, as if we were still home. The other two days we were there, we were in and out coming home from the beach, got take out food, even grilled dinner outside! We found a small fishing pole in the garage and the boys (16, 11, 6) even caught a few fish while we were there off the back dock. More than enough towels and dishes for the whole stay. If we come back in the near future, we will definitely search availability here first! Thanks for the great/easy stay!

Amazing Stay!

Upon our arrival, the home was spotless. We were greeted with a vase full of flowers and a bowl of chocolates and mints. We also had some supplies to get us through until we could get to a store which is close. We can’t say enough about the pool. Even when a cold front came through we could get in the pool. Tip: We would pull the pool cover off daily and put it back on each night. We never had to add water to the pool due to evaporation. We would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended.

Amazing Vacay!

There were five adults and three children ages 12 to 2. The rental exceeded all of our expectations. The house is relatively new and had all the modern amenities and decor along with being well stocked with beach towels, kayaks, table games, TVs in every room etc. We loved the pool and lanai areas and spent a lot of time poolside (great heated pool). There are numerous restaurants in the area and the location was perfect for taking our electric bikes. I'd be remiss not to mention our hosts Rita and Darrin as they were incredibly responsive and so accommodating. We had no issues, complaints or regrets and we will definitely stay at this location in the future!
