Beautiful home, but needs attention

This house is a very pretty house. It is so bright and the lanai is great with a beautiful view. The house was clean, the beds were clean and the kitchen had everything you needed. But there were problems. The washer had standing water and debris in it. The “rinse” light was flashing. When I notified the property manager, she said she would let the owner know, but nothing was done during our stay. The cleaning crew should have reported this. So we needed to go to the laundromat one day. The queen bed had a sinkhole in the middle, so two people couldn’t share that bed and sleep comfortably. The drain in the bathroom ran so slow you got a shower AND a bath. Some of the kitchen cabinets were nearly falling off, so we bought a screwdriver and fixed them. The brown couch is pretty much unusable in that it sinks down real far. But in all fairness, I have never rented a house in any part of the country that had perfect couches! If the washer was in working order, the queen bed had a new mattress and the drains ran free, I would have given this house 5 stars. It’s in a great, quiet neighborhood. But at least the kitchen cabinets are fixed now!

Great place!!

Great canal house takes 20 minutes to get to the river! Burrowing owls in the neighborhood are so cool! Loved the pool! Comfy beds and lots of space to spread out. Place comes with floaters for the pooll and beach chairs and an umbrella for the beach and beach towels. Would come back again for sure!

Perfect Spring Break Getaway

We booked last minute when we were able to get away for a few days. The home is a little older, but well maintained and had everything we needed. We enjoyed being on the canal and even had manatees vist one morning. The neighborhood is quiet and away from any busy roads. We would definitely recommend to others.

Death by a thousand cuts

Nice place on canal, roomy, etc. Cleaning staff and maintenance crew should be fired and maybe the property manger who is ultimately responsible. Cleanliness of house okay but kitchen was a pig sty, greasy pots and pans, crumbs in silverware, knives dirty, etc. No major maintenance issues just too many small ones, several burned out bulbs, three bad boards on dock where a foot could push through, closet doors off and cleaning supplies locked up. Found a vacuum that was packed full and also contained remains of dead mouse. Had to set it outside due to smell. I called property manager, she cared less. I realize small issues can happen, but too many for the price we paid. We are not near freaks but expect things to work and property to be reasonably clean. Total fail on both.

Ideal location for Cape Coral

We really enjoyed our stay at the villa, even when the weather turned for the worse on our last couple of days having the covered outdoor seating was excellent. (The ceiling fans for the outdoor seating will be a massive bonus for anyone visiting in the summer!) Overall we had everything we could ever need and then more in the kitchen, having towels and toiletries in the villa on arrival was a very pleasant surprise. In terms of the location it is very easy to get to and from whilst still being in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood. It was also nice to see the canal being used with small boats passing (and waving). The neighbours were also very friendly. Would happily stay again if we are looking for somewhere in the area. Credit to Anita who is doing a great job managing the property.

Very nice vacation stay for a large family or just all adults looking for something quiet & not in the middle of lots of noise & ruckus. Our only suggestion would be a more user friendly sofa in the family room. The existing one is almost unusable for seniors as is very low & difficult to get up from.

Wir hatten eine schöne Zeit im Haus, allerdings mit EinschrÀnkungen.

Der Aufenthalt im Haus war schön. Es ist wirklich ein tolles Haus, dass allerdings etwas Pflege gebrauchen könnte. Die EingangstĂŒr klemmte, die ToilettenspĂŒlung war defekt ( wurde wĂ€hrend unsere Aufenthalts nach einiger Zeit repariert). Was uns persönlich sehr gestört hat, ist dass der Pool nach dem Regen voller MĂŒcken war und nach der Rasenpflege voller Ameisen. Den Grill konnten wir nicht nutzen da dort noch das Fett der letzten Monate/ Jahre dranklebte. Insgesamt war es ein schöner Aufenthalt, jedoch wĂŒrden wir das Haus kein 2. Mal buchen.

Great house in convenient location

Overall we enjoyed our stay here. Beds were comfortable and layout was great for our family. More space than we ever used! The view of the canal was gorgeous. Property manager was prompt with all communication. Only real issue we had during our stay was that the pool was way too hot. Close to hot tub temperatures during the hottest time in Florida. This made it very difficult to enjoy one of the biggest draws to the property for our family. The pool pump didn’t seem to be strong enough either. Endless sea of gnats that never got filtered out and we found this to be very unappealing. We didn’t end up using the pool like we would have without these issues. Property manager did send over the pool person but it was at the end of our stay so unsure if issues were resolved. A tip to future stayers- you will need to provide all toiletries, paper goods, garbage bags and cleaning products. This is not included in your stay. Not a big deal but not something we had ran into in previous VRBO’s we stayed in and we were not prepared. Luckily, property is located within 5 minutes of any shopping you may need. Neighbors were very friendly also. I would recommend to someone looking to stay in the area.

Fabulous Home

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this fabulous home! Everything was as pictured on the VRBO website. We enjoyed the heated pool with the beautiful view of the canal. Had many of our meals at the large patio table while watching the boats go by. Highly recommend this property!!
