The picturesque village of San Gennaro lies on a gently sloping hillside just 15 km from Lucca and 30 km from Pisa and the well-known beaches of the Versilia. As an alternative to the beach and the sea, just over 3 km away, at the Hotel Country Club, you can find a public outdoor pool with two tubs, one for adults and one for children.
This attached cottage lies in the borgo – it was restored and converted into a holiday home. It is an ideal spot to have beautiful strolls, to organize trips by mountain bike, to visit the nearby art towns or to have a wonderful outdoor dinner/barbeque on the terrace where you have stoning views.
The property extends on 1.000 sqm (on the side of the house) – rich of olive trees. Parking close to the house.
San Gennaro is immersed in the greenery of the surrounding olive groves and wine yards. The hamlet with its history and culture, its narrow roads, squares and antique villas is well preserved and the church in Romanesque style possesses several treasures, for example a terracotta angel which is attributed to Leonardo da Vinci.
Ground floor: Dining room/kitchen with fire-place, 2 upholstered chairs, TV, big windows with beautiful views. Kitchenette with stove, oven, fridge with freezer compartment, 1 double bedroom (beds may be divided), 1 twin bedroom, 1 bathroom with shower, wc, bidet. This holiday home was restored with care, antique and modern furnishings were mixed, the walls painted in pastel colours, terracotta tiled floors in the living room, parquet tiled floors in the bedrooms.
