The Space:

This fantastic Cannon Beach vacation rental has ocean views and beach access!



With a fantastic location right on the sands, this home is perfect for anyone who wants to spend the day soaking up the sun or listening to the waves crash on shore! Plus, there are tons of hiking trails and state parks nearby - not to mention the town of Cannon Beach, with ample activities any time of year!



With hardwood floors and high ceilings, this home has an open, airy beach feel!



When you walk through the front door, you're greeted by the mantle, surrounded by soft leather armchairs and a couch. The entertainment center along the wall has a TV where you can watch cable or stream Netflix, and it's easy to get stuck in this room thanks to the ocean views out the window.



Around the corner, the charming kitchen has everything from wine glasses to a dishwasher, so the chef can prepare a fantastic meal! With four spots at the dining table, plus a table outside on the patio, there's plenty of room for everyone to enjoy some home cooking.



Down the hallway, the main bedroom beckons with sliding glass doors to the patio and a full private bathroom with a stand-up shower!



The back patio is perfect for relaxing and listening to the waves roll in, and there's a sizable backyard that has a fence around it. There's even a gas grill to whip up some BBQ, and wood provided for the fireplace. With a private washer/dryer you can keep your belongings nice and clean, and there are also a boogie board, WiFi, Blu-ray, and a DVD player for your use!



The sandy beach is just steps from your doorstep, making this home the perfect base for any beach bums who want to spend their days surfing, swimming, or building sand castles! There are plenty of places in town to rent out sporting equipment, or you could head out to sea on a fishing charter or whale-watching crew - the coast is spectacular any time of year!



Ecola State Park is less than a mile away with unbelievable views, trails, and Sea Lion Rock. Of course, you can always venture into town for a better vista of Haystack Rock (or the 'Goonies' rocks), a famous site along the Oregon coastline! Cannon Beach also offers countless options for bars, restaurants, and shopping, and there are many daytrips you could take along the famous Highway 101.

Host was responsive. The place was in an excellent location. The beds and couch were comfortable and the fireplace was very cozy. The decor is circa 1980s and very worn, but this didn't bother us.

First the good. Awesome location right across the street from a beautiful beach and some ocean view from the cottage. North of town but very close to everything.And not a newsflash as others have said the unit is a bit tired, things are worn or not working like blinds. Generally clean but lots of dust for example on blinds. Carpets had stains which is quite offputting. The TVsetup is ridiculous with a small TV 20' away from the couch. My sense is people deal with the issues in exchange for the location and price point. Oh and the front bedroom takes the brunt of noise from people coming and going at all hours including early a.m.So great location but tired and need of a deep clean. We wont stay again.

Excellent Cottage! It is literally right across the street from the beach access trail. it leads down a slightly steep hill to the private beach! Has all the amenities, just not Keurig. 5 min drive or 20 min walk to downtown. We had a great time!

Great time at Cannon Beach

This quaint cottage at Cannon Beach was perfect for our stay. We had 4 adults. The house is in a quiet neighborhood across the street from the beach. Surf views from the front porch. The kitchen was well equipped and everything was clean. A minor issue was taken care of quickly by the local team.

Nice, but kinda worn. The front door lock doesn’t work
very hard to unlock/lock from outside. The bed in the small bedroom is uncomfortable. The shower in small bedroom bathroom is corroded and hard to regulate. The sink in small bathroom leaks in back top. Latches on screen doors and back gate are rusty. Otherwise, fine.

Great view disappointing house

The location was great for accessing the beach, but the house heating was insufficient. While it had a fireplace, we were not allowed to use it. The gas grill was rusted and would not light.In the end we left early since the home was disappointing

Perfect for our needs

Great house, just the right size! Out of the way location in a quiet area with beach access just across the street. A harem of elk were our amost daily visitors. Privacy between bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Would recommend it to our friends.

Good, almost Great

Overall we had a great time however there were some inaccuracies in the VRBO description of the property. This house is not oceanfront, it's across the street from the beach with a view of the ocean. You walk across the street to a public path that takes you to the beach. It's also about a 20 min walk into downtown Cannon Beach, not a 1 min walk. Lastly, the fireplace doesn't work, or maybe it does but you're not allowed to use it per city ordinance so that was disappointing (and there is no firepit). All of that said, the rest of the house itself is cute and as described. It was a little cozy for 2 adults and 3 kids but we made it work. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed to cook - we enjoyed our stay.

Perfect location for a vacation

This place is perfect with beach access right across the street and easy walking distsnce into town for restaurants and shops. There are even elk down the street that would stop and eat near the street. The house was clean, beds comfortable and kitchen had everything we needed. House was dated and could be upgraded and remodeled but everything was functional. Sitting on the back deck was also enjoyable. we needed. .

Dangerous wiring, nonworking keypad lock

Great location, and the photos are accurate. The home is poorly maintained. No instructions for the TV. Floor lamps in the master bedroom didn't work. The second bedroom had a floor lamp whose wires were exposed at the light bulb. Someone had put scotch tape around the wire. Clearly a dangerous and unsafe condition. The biggest issue was the keypad lock. The code I was given didn't work. I called and got access to a key which stopped working the second day. It would not consistently lock or unlock the house. I was moved to another Vacasa rental, and that home's keypad didn't work either. I received a message from a blocked number. It was a Vacasa property manager, who offered me a $25 "Inconvenience Fee". She never called back, and I have not received payment. BTW, that $25 fee covers 1 hour of my rental rate for this property. I will never rent from Vacasa again.
