Welcome to The Bears Lair located in The Waterville Valley Estates! Your stay includes 2 passes to the Waterville Estates Community Center with hot tubs, saunas, pools, bars, and restaurants. Explore the local Campton Mountain for night skiing and sledding. Just 10 minutes to Waterville Ski Resort, 20 to Loon Mountain, 30 to Cannon Mountain, 25 to Squam Lake, and 35 to Lake Winnipesaukee. A perfect base for a calm or action-packed getaway. Book now and dive into an array of outdoor adventures!

Welcome to Bear`s Lair, a spacious log cabin perfect for single or multiple families. Enjoy 3 comfy bedrooms, 2.5 modern bathrooms, plus a loft area serving as a 4th bedroom. Two cozy living areas await—one on the main floor, another in the basement. Whip up meals in a fully stocked kitchen and savor them on a large deck equipped with a sectional and grill, all while soaking up the fresh New Hampshire air. Experience a blend of rustic charm and comfort perfect for your relaxing or adventurous getaway.

Fantastic cabin with plenty of room for two families, with multiple hang out rooms, kids had a movie downstairs, adults upstairs, great open concept, plenty of bathrooms and beds, easy serving kitchen, close to Waterville with access to the community center, pools and arcade were a big hit! Host is extremely responsive, which is extremely helpful!

The accommodation was quite clean and comfortable for our family group who were in New Hampshire to attend a wedding. The location was great to explore lots of other areas. Plenty of room to watch baseball and play cards during down time. We used the recreation center and it was very nice as well - a great perk.

Very well maintained, clean and beautiful property. It was very convenient for our 2 families and 1 grand parent. Check-in / check out instructions were clear, wi-fi was good, kitchen was fully loaded, bathrooms were clean and had enough towels and toiletries. Kids were entertained with TVs in each room and board games. We had a pleasant stay!

Great Family Vacation

Great location, beautiful cabin, great host Eric Foley. Lots of beautiful views and scenery. Eric responded immediately to our requests and needs. My grandchildren had a blast at the clubhouse in the pools, the pond, basketball court, and other activities. Well worth the stay and we enjoyed every minute.

Comfy Cabin

Such a nice cabin with beautiful woodwork, updated appliances, great location, and all the amenities to go along with it. My family and I slept so good on the comfy beds and pillows. We’re already planning our next stay!

A Nice Cabin

We found the cabin to be fairly comfortable. The double bed in the basement was uncomfortable for two people. Some tilting of the mattress due to poor construction. The cabin could use more lighting (some strategically placed lamps.) It seemed dark in the evening. Although there is a nice fireplace, please be aware that you have to bring your own wood. Also, if you want to use the grill, you have to bring the propane tank somewhere to get it filled.

Perfect little cabin

This cabin is awesome for a family/group that is looking to get away for the winter and do some winter sports. Its 15 minutes away from Waterville so its perfect for any activities. There is a rec center up the road - 5 minutes if you wanted the hot tub/pool to relax in after a full day. Its cute! Country Store is 5 minutes away and has just about everything you could ask for. its quite a gem in the area!A couple of things to be aware: There is a fireplace, but the tools for the fire make it a bit difficult to work with. Firewood is available at the Country store - but its not covered and is wet. Its also available at the gas station near the liquor store off the exit - get it there as it is much drier.The couch pillows are a bit old and need replacing. Bring your own bed pillows - highly recommend.

Beautiful and comfy

Our February ski vacation was so comfy at The Bears Lair! With many nooks for multiple families, everyone had their own spaces. The fireplace was a highlight and we enjoyed our first stay in Campton. We enjoyed nights in for dinner with a well equipped kitchen and our boys even sledded in the back yard after returning from the slopes. Great location and property!

Peaceful Paradise

We had a wonderful stay at the cabin. Everything was clean and comfortable, making it an easy transition with a family. The passes to the community center kept the kids entertained even when it was raining. Erik was very communicative, reaching out to make sure there was nothing else we needed. It was perfect, and we plan on staying here again!

Fantastic Cabin in the Woods

A clean, wonderful cabin that was spacious and comfortable. The kitchen was well appointed, the back deck was large and being able to walk out to the firepit at night was a treat. Host was very easy to communicate with and the area was fantastic; a quick trip to multiple hikes in the White Mountains, Plymouth, Woodstock, Thornton...a very enjoyable experience.
