Perfect family vacation home

Great Family Stay

This home is perfect for a large family gathering. Our family of adults, teens, children, and babies all enjoyed the available spaces. Although located on primary channel, we were still able to enjoy swimming off the dock daily. Owners were responsive to any questions or requests. We enjoyed having two kitchen spaces for storing each family's items. There were plenty of living/entertainment spaces for everyone to spread out. It was the perfect space for our family to be together!

Camdenton Sweetspot

The Holliday's home and hospitality made for an amazing vacation for our family group of 13 people! Everything you could want for a week on the lake! The communication was the best I've experienced when renting through VRBO. Kind, direct and simple! Plenty of room for everyone, and the game tables were a big hit after dark. We would definitely stay again, and hope to do so next summer!

Reunion at the lake

Place was beautiful. We had a family reunion with 16 people of all ages. Having the dock and water access was a big hit with everyone. LeOnna was great to work with and the place was well stocked with most of the necessities. Many thanks for a great week.

Everything was great but I would be embarrassed as an owner to expect people to sit on the family room and main floor deck furniture 😝😝. It really left a bad taste. Everything else was great.

Cleanest place

Every thing was as listed. This was the cleanest property that we have stayed in the 12 years our family has had a week house vacation. The property manager was quick to come to answer our questions and so pleasant. Thankfully the A/C worked in our 100 degree plus weather The young ones loved diving of the end of the dock.

House was great for larger groups. Lots of space, clean and up to date, easy access to the water, good views. Only note is the internet is slow (but phone 5G was fine on most carriers).

Great stay

Great house. Loved the four masters with bathrooms. No fighting to get ready for the day. House was clean and in good shape. The dock could use a little updating but was in over decent shape. Also be aware that the dumpster for garbage is on top of the hill so you will have to haul it up there at the end of your stay. So you may be putting it in the back of your vehicle to do that. Overall we had a great stay there.

Family vacation

Our family of 10 loved the spacious house. The one MB/bath (bath very tiny). But we made due. Loved being on the lake. Rented a pontoon boat for the week and got our money worth. Kids swam off the dock with life jackets on (dock needs some upgrading) but loved the floating mat. They also fished from the dock. House is in a good location on the water. Enjoyed tubing and the area attractions. Would highly recommend this house.

Great for multiple families

Great catfishing hole off the dock. Kids were catching big ones left and right! We hardly used the downstairs kitchen, but upstairs had everything we needed. Included regular coffee pot and keurig Toaster and most pots and pans. Dock definitely could use some TLC, but did its purpose. We were a bit disappointed the loft area just had two pull out couches and not actual beds. The road down to the house is narrow and parking 4 cars was a bit tight, but we made it work. We took our boat daily and were able to tube and surf right out front of the house. We rented waverunners and tubes from Pirates Marina just a short boat ride from house. Captain Rons’s and The Cave were both great places to go to that were close.

Family Retreat

Had an amazing time for a week at the lake. The place was great for the size of our group. Enjoyed a lot of time in the water - tubing, swimming, boat rides, jet skis, kayaking and floating on the rafts. Also enjoyed the indoor games and lounging on the decks. It was a very hot week. Sitting on the decks looking over the lake was pleasant in the afternoon since the lake side of the house faces East. Oh, the kitchen is great. There are actually two but we only used the one upstairs.

Family getaway retreat

Great location and accomadations for family get together. Enjoyed fishing, swimming, boating and jet skiing on the lake. Weekends definitely got busier on the lake. Property manager was very accomadating and helpful. Sunrise with coffee on the balcony overlloking the lake was a favorite moment to start each day.

Great Time with Friends

We get together every other year with high school friends and always try to find a location and house that will accommodate us all comfortably. This house certainly checked a lot of those boxes. Very well maintained with a lot of upgraded features, especially in the kitchen area. An absolute amazing view of the lake made our cocktail and dinner venues really enjoyable. As mentioned in previous reviews, the parking for 4 vehicles can be a challenge, but certainly not a show stopper. The only negative we had was the bedroom/bathroom arrangement on the lower level. A shared bathroom and a separate bathroom off of the game room was not ideal for the 4th and 5th bedroom occupants. But, we managed to make this work without too much inconvenience. Overall, we would certainly recommend this "Great Place on the Lake" as a top consideration if you are looking to stay in the Ozarks.
