With amazing panoramic views of what is acknowledged to be the most picturesque fishing village in Madeira and the home to the famous “poncha” drink, the brand-new air conditioned 2 bedroom Bayside Apartment offers premium comfort, a shared rooftop swimming pool and fitness room, and private parking place.
In the immediate surrounding area are the many facilities you may require, including a good selection of restaurants, cafés, and bakeries, banks and a pharmacy.
Cñmara de Lobos is known for its beautiful bay, painted by Churchill, and its charming centre with narrow quaint streets and bars serving the many different “ponchas” and lively night life. A 5 Km seaside promenade starts here and goes all the way to Funchal, providing a fantastic easy walk by the sea.

Property Description
The apartment, located on the 2nd floor, offers an open plan living area that opens through to a full length front balcony with bay and sea views. The fully equipped modern open-plan allows kitchen with SMEG appliances allows you to prepare your food whilst appreciating those marvellous views.
A short corridor leads to the bedroom with two single beds that opens to front terrace, with sea views, and to the family bathroom. The master bedroom with en-suite bathroom and modern walk-in shower can be found at the end of the corridor. All bedrooms have air conditioning/heating.
There is outdoor dining and seating on the veranda for those lovely warm days CĂąmara de Lobos is known for, or just to relax with a glass of wine whilst enjoying the views to Cabo GirĂŁo and the beautiful sunset, or watching the fishing boats go out so sea to catch the famous black scabbard fish, unique to Madeira.
The laundry has a washing machine, iron and ironing board, and sun-beds to be used by the pool.

The nearest restaurant is only 10 meters away from the apartment and the well-known “poncha” bars are only 400 meters away. A branded supermarket is only 95 m away on the street below.
Bay side Apartment is within easy walking access to the meandering quaint streets and all means of transport, such as taxis and buses that run frequently and will allow you to explore all the island.
A 7 Km seaside promenade starts in CĂąmara de Lobos and winds its way along the sea-front all the way to Funchal, providing a fantastic easy walk by the sea.
Funchal town centre is less than 9 Km away by road, and the airport is 26 Km away a quick only 30 minute drive time.

Cleaning
The property is prepared for your arrival. For stays of longer than 7 nights, a change of linen and towels, and light mid-stay cleaning of bathrooms is provided on a day and time to be advised at check-in.
All linen and towels are provided, including towels for the swimming pool.
For health reasons, linen for a baby cot is not provided and you should bring your own.
Guests need to vacate the villa during a mid-stay clean and change of linen.

Booking Notes
The advertised prices are based on a 2-person occupancy.
To secure your reservation we require a non-refundable deposit or the full amount if the reservation is made within 8 weeks prior to arrival. The balance is due 8 weeks prior to your arrival.
A security deposit of 150€ is required by credit card prior to check-in.
The minimum stay is 05 nights.
Final details for check-in and driving instructions will be sent 7 days before your arrival.

The condo is in excellent condition with all the necessary amenities. The rooftop pool was awesome especially in the August heat. Underground private parking is very welcome given the challenge of parking in most places on the island. We've stayed in a lot of VRBO places and this was one of the best. The communication with the owner was excellent. There is a pretty busy street out front but that is fairly normal for the area. This is a great location to enjoy the island from and to just enjoy the local area.

Excellent apartment in the centre of CĂąmara de Lobos. Large balcony with lovely views over the town and sea. Beautifully furnished and very very clean. Underground garage was fab as parking is busy and tricky to find. Large well appointed rooms, fully equipped kitchen and utility. Our Madeira were excellent, great communication, we were able to check in 2 hours early. The only negative was the building work, on the apartment block next door but one, made the pool area unusable as the building noise - drilling and hammering on repeat, was too much.

We had a great stay at Bayside Apartments. Love that everything was new, well kept, and clean. Just a few streets up from the town square and harbor made walking around very easy. It was also close to the supermarket, which was nice because the kitchen had many appliances/cookware for making your own meals if you’d like. Downside was there are no oils/spices kept in the apartment, so you’ll need to buy that. The blender also was not working, nor was the treadmill in the gym. One other thing, if you are vegan, you won’t like the view of hanging carcasses at the restaurant across the street - I surely did not!
