Villa Caltagira is an elegant and welcoming two-story villa surrounded by a wonderful age-old park. It sleeps 12 people. From Villa Caltagira you will enjoy an incredible view of the valley and of the greenery. Villa Caltagira is 400 square meters (4300 square feet). It features a private swimming pool, two private terraces, two private patios, a private garden, air conditioning (please read description below to check in which rooms the units are installed), winter heating and WI-FI Internet access.
You will be roughly 8.5 km (5.3 miles) from Caltagirone, where you will find restaurants, shops and public transportation. You will find the closest restaurant at 7.5 km (roughly 4.7 miles), a grocery store at 6 km (roughly 3.7 miles) and the closest beach (Gela Est Beach Pier ) at 37 km (roughly 23 miles). You will reach Villa Caltagira from the parking area going down a route that includes approximately 20 stairway steps.
To stay at Villa Caltagira you will need a car. You will be able to park it free of charge on the premises. Please note that access to Villa Caltagira is along a 250-meters (820 feets) unpaved road.

Set in a 24 acres park featuring olives and fruits trees, Villa Caltagira is made up two separate buildings. The main villa (which features two bedrooms and three bathrooms) and an annex, located 100 metres away (where you will find three more bedrooms and three bathrooms).


As guests of Villa Caltagira you will be able to take part, upon request and for a fee, in wine tastings and horse ridings. You will also have the opportunity to hire a personal chef or require in villa massage service and baby-sitting service.
Swimming Pool
The swimming pool is 5 meters (16 feet) large by 11 meters (36 feet) long, 1.5 meters (5 feet) deep. It is an infinity pool and can be heated if requested (additional cost applies -- please enquire with our staff). The area is equipped with two sun loungers. This area is also equipped with two armchairs, and it is partly shaded by a characteristic pergola with a bamboo roof. From the swimming pool you will enjoy a spectacular view of the valley and of the greenery. The pool is open from the beginning of May until the end of September.
Patio 1
The first patio is 100 square meters (1076 square feet) large. It is partly shaded by a characteristic pergola with a bamboo roof. It is equipped with two sofas and with a table, chairs and two sun loungers. Here you will also find a brickwork barbecue. From the patio you will enjoy an enchanting view of the valley and of the greenery.
Ground FloorLiving Room 1
The first living room is paved with wood. The ceiling is sloped, is made of wood and has white exposed beams. The furnishings are elegant and welcoming. The furnishings include a sofa and an armchair. In this room you will find a satellite smart TV. From the living room you will be able to enter the patio and the swimming pool through two French doors. The room is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit.
Living Room 2
You will be able to enter the second living room from the first living room climbing 12 steps. This room has no door, but it is closed by a curtain. The ceiling is sloped, is made of wood and has white exposed beams. The furnishings include a divan that unfolds into a French bed and a desk. In this room you will find a satellite smart TV. From the living room you will be able to enter the garden through a French door. The room also has two small windows.
Dining Room
You will be able to enter the dining room from the first living room climbing two steps. The dining table can accommodate ten guests. From the dining room you will be able to enter the patio through a French door. The room also has a small window, and is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit.
Kitchen
You will be able to enter the kitchen from the dining room. It is equipped with a six-burner induction cooker, an electric oven, an American-style refrigerator with ice-maker, a dishwasher, a microwave oven, an American-style coffee-maker (bring your filters!) and a kettle. From the kitchen a French door will take you to the patio. The kitchen is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit.
Bathroom
The bathroom is equipped with a washbasin, a toilet, a fully enclosed shower and a hairdryer. You will be able to enter the bathroom from the second living room.
Half bath
The half-bath is equipped with a washbasin and a toilet. You will be able to enter it from the dining room. First FloorTerrace
The terrace is 40 square meters (430 square feet) large. It is partly shaded by trees. It is equipped with a table and chairs. From the terrace you will enjoy a charming view of the valley and of the greenery.
Bedroom 1 with en-suite bathroom
You will be able to enter the first bedroom through a corridor. The bedroom has a king-size bed (180 cm/71 inches). In this room you will find a satellite smart TV. From the bedroom you will be able to enter a long terrace through a French door. The room also has a small window. The bedroom is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit. This bedroom has an en-suite bathroom, spacious and equipped with a washbasin, a toilet, an open shower and a bathtub.
Bedroom 2 with en-suite bathroom
You will be able to enter the second bedroom through a corridor. The furnishings are warm and welcoming, and include some antique pieces. The room has a king-size bed (180 cm/71 inches) and a single bed (80 cm/32 inches). The furnishings include two bedroom chairs. From the bedroom you will be able to enter the terrace through a French door. The bedroom is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit. This bedroom has an en-suite bathroom, equipped with a washbasin, a toilet and a fully enclosed shower.

The second patio is 30 square meters (320 square feet) large. It is partly shaded. It is equipped with sun loungers. From the patio you will enjoy a broad view of the greenery.

You will be able to enter the third bedroom from the patio through an external access. The bedroom has a matrimonial bed (160 cm/63 inches, wider than a queen-size bed). In this room you will find a satellite smart TV. The room has a large panoramic window. The bedroom is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit, and you will also find a mini refrigerator. This bedroom has an en-suite bathroom, equipped with a washbasin, a toilet and a large open shower.
Bedroom 4 with en-suite bathroom
You will be able to enter the fourth bedroom from the patio through an external access. The bedroom has a king-size bed (180 cm/71 inches). The furnishings include a desk. In this room you will find a satellite smart TV. The bedroom is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit. This bedroom has an en-suite bathroom, equipped with a washbasin, a toilet, a large open shower and a jacuzzi bathtub. Please note that the bathtub is located in the bedroom.

You will be able to enter the fifth bedroom through an external access.
