Appartement privé d'une chambre dans la belle vallée de Tamar

Notre appartement est bon pour les couples et les voyageurs en solo. Attaché à notre maison, c'est un bijou, mais un espace trÚs confortable et moderne, avec entrée privée et jardin patio. Nous sommes situés dans un village dans la vallée de Tamar, qui est à la frontiÚre entre le Devon et Cornwall. Vous avez un accÚs facile à toutes les régions du Sud-Ouest, et en particulier les parcs de Dartmoor et Bodmin, la ville de Plymouth et la ville de marché de Tavistock. C'est un endroit idéal pour explorer ou simplement pour se détendre.
(PS: S'il vous plaĂźt noter qu'il y a quelques routes Ă©troites menant Ă  notre village !!)

Basse Metherell est un petit village convivial avec un 15Úme pub de campagne siÚcle, à seulement 5 minutes à pied de notre maison. D'autres pubs, un magasin de village et l'église médiévale sont à proximité dans Harrowbarrow et St Dominick.

NB: Veuillez noter qu'il y a des routes de campagne Ă©troites menant Ă  notre village!

Si vous avez envie de laisser la voiture derriÚre la ligne de chemin de fer Tamar Valley est une route panoramique entre Plymouth et Gunnislake, (à moins de 3 miles de notre maison). Il y a aussi des bus locaux qui opÚrent entre les différents villages à Tavistock.
Lors de votre séjour dans cet appartement, vous ne serez qu'à quelques minutes à pied de Parc animalier Tamar Valley Donkey Park. Cet appartement comprend des équipements et services comme l'accÚs Wi-Fi à Internet gratuit et une cuisine.

My two nights here

Clean and friendly host. I may have left a carrier bag with some food related stuff in it and would like to ask the host exactly what is in the bag - I don’t think there is anything worth having back.

Great place to stay

The small aparentment type house was wonderful to stay in and felt very homley, the sceary around the house too was gorgeous, plus the property manager had a cat which is just bonus points would rate 10 stars if possible for the cat alone. The property manager was also very kind and spoke clearly. Both my partner and i very much enjoyed our stay and hope to visit again.

Nice quiet central location to explore the Cornwall and Devon.

Our hosts provided a nice little apartment where we could come and go and not disturb anyone. We had all the amenities that we needed for preparing meals. Truth be told that was only breakfast as we were able to try all the local pubs for the evening meals. If you spend the evening in the Carpenter's Arms it is literally a two minute walk and you can fall into a nice comfortable bed. Our hosts were just as nice as the accommodations. Always happy to answer any questions, or just have a chat.

The property was ideal for the two of us and was nice and private and well screened from other houses in the close. The host was in good communication with us before our visit and was friendly and welcoming in person. The annexe was very clean and well equipped and the host left out some goodies for us on our arrival which were greatly appreciated.

Everything you need

This place is clean and modern. Host is very welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. Lots of places to go and visit from this property. Host leaves lots of info of places to visit and eat. Loads of places to visit via walking or by car. If you are a member of the national trust this is the place to stay. Pub is round the corner. This is a great place to stay. Highly recommend.

Lovely comfortable accommodation.

This accommodation was ideal for us. It was in a small village with the local pub where we met friends about 200 yds away. We drive a VW Tiguan and didn’t find any problem with the lanes but were used to them in Devon! Large walk in shower was ideal for my husband who has mobility problems. Comfy bed and good view of the chickens but not disturbed by them. Weather wasn’t fine but it will be lovely to sit out in the garden when the sun shines. Owners were friendly and helpful and the cottage well equipped.

Ideal location

A very pleasant stay at this property ideally situated for visiting areas of devon and corwall. Th hosr Amanda was helpful with a lot of info regsrding local restaurants which we can also recommend, especially the rifle volunteer where we had excellent meals.

This self contained apartment was ideal for allowing us to travel around the area, which I know well. We were able to visit Tavistock.. my former home, Dartmoor, Cotehele and Plymouth with ease. We had all the cooking utensils and crockery etc needed to cater for ourselves and the host provided us with some eggs from her hens. We had a small garden to enjoy when we weren't out exploring The bedroom was rather small but we really only needed it for sleeping so it didn't present a problem. I would definitely recommend this apartment to others, but would warn that it is down rather narrow roads!

Cozy Accommodation

We had a very good 6-night stay in this cosy apartment attached to the owner's home. Amanda is a thoughtful and accommodating host.. Very good response rate. Had some nice touches in the apartment incuding a well-stocked kitchen where we cooked many meals. Bed was very comfy and the bathroom including the shower are a very nice size. This apartment is located in a quiet village and we heard absolutely no noise from Amanda's home. We would stay again if in the area.

We really enjoyed our stay in Lower Metherell. The apartment was quiet, clean, and comfortable and Amanda was a very responsive and helpful host. We were able to go straight from the house for several walks in the area. I would highly recommend this to anyone staying in the area.

This place was fantastic to stay in. The host (Amanda) was excellent. The property was immaculate with everything you needed for a truly comfortable holiday. I loved it. Amanda met us on arrival showed us the property and even though it’s an annexe of her house we never saw her our whole stay. The one bedroom property feels very independent from the main house. We had only one communication with Amanda the whole time and even though she was next door she sent an email! She truly gets the reason people book this type of place. The only negative and it’s a small one. There is a couple of narrow lanes to negotiate to get to the place which at first is a big daunting but you get used to it.

Great place to getaway. Kitchen that has all you need to make a meal. Nice outdoor place to sit privately. Amanda was helpful but let us come and go. Separate buildings, so it works well.Nice friendly pub on the doorstep. Country walk to Calstock, where you can hire a boat and a fantastic boat. 40 minutes to the heart of Dartmoor and Bude in Cornwall.

Loved it!

It was just what I wanted to get away from it all. Amanda was friendly and helpful on arrival and then left me to enjoy my stay. Walked to Cotthele Quay on first day, which was beautiful in the heat. Then drove to Bude the next day to spend the day on the beach. Very clean and comfortable accommodation. The bed was perfect!

A really lovely property that is exactly as stated on the website. Amanda is very kind and helpful both before you arrive and when you pick up/drop off the keys. Beautifully clean, well equipped, comfortable accommodation. Bathroom was immaculate and bed was comfortable. Would certainly recommend and would be more than happy to stay again.
