Featuring a stunning vaulted open-plan living area with superb views over the infinity pool to the very large mature garden and sea, this very private villa in Madeira will appeal to anyone looking for a beautiful place to relax and enjoy the Madeira countryside and sun.
Lounge in the pergola covered veranda or around the swimming pool enjoying the beautiful views over the garden and sea, or spend some quiet time in the hammock in the garden watching the sunset.
Three bedrooms and three bathrooms and a new high quality contemporary kitchen bring you all the comforts you may need, and the large, covered barbecue will certainly be the place that brings everyone together.
The large, vaulted living area is the centre point of Garden Paradise. The two separate sitting areas and a circular dining table all overlook the infinity pool and wonderful sloping garden. Large sliding floor to ceiling doors open to the pergola covered veranda.
Behind the living area is the new contemporary and fully equipped kitchen, the third bathroom with a bath and the laundry. The side door leads to the covered barbecue and onward to the private parking area.
To the side is the master bedroom with en-suite that also opens to the front veranda. Wake up in the morning to that beautiful view of the garden and sea!
On the first floor are the two additional bedrooms with a jack and jill shower room in between.

The nearest facilities (a bakery and café) are a mere 1 Km away, and the village centre (three café/restaurants and the medical centre) is 1,8Km away. 1,7 Km, by the large roundabout that provides access to the expressway and the motorway system, is a supermarket, café/bakery with cashpoint machine, a further café on the petrol station and a further couple of restaurants.
The Levada do Norte passes just above the Village. With the many country walks available in the area, this makes Prazeres a perfect resort for walking in Madeira.
The nearest chemist is in the sleepy village of Estreito da Calheta, only 5 minutes drive away (5.7 Km).
A few minutes by car will take you to the resort town of Calheta, 9 Km from the Villa. With its man-made golden beaches, it is popular with tourists and locals alike. There is a beautiful marina and a good choice of bars and restaurants, a handful of small shops, a good branded supermarket, a bank and chemist.
Centro das Artes Casa da Mudas is a new centre located at the edge of a cliff overlooking the sea and was built to host superb art exhibitions, musical performances and other events.
15 minutes by car east is Ribeira Brava, the largest town before Funchal, that offers a rocky beach and sea access facilities in addition to a large supermarket and more shops, cafés, and restaurants.
Funchal is an easy 45-minute drive away, and to the airport takes around 55 minutes.

Madeira

Cleaning
The property is prepared for your arrival. For stays of longer than 7 nights, a change of linen and towels, and light mid-stay cleaning of bathrooms is provided on a day and time to be advised at check-in.
All linen and towels are provided, including towels for the swimming pool.
For health reasons, linen for a baby cot is not provided and you should bring your own.
Guests need to vacate the villa during a mid-stay clean and change of linen.

Booking Notes
The advertised prices are based on the number of people you have registered and supplements applly should anyone join you for any length of time.
To secure your reservation we require a 30% deposit, or the full amount if you are arriving within 8 weeks. The balance is due 8 weeks prior to arrival.
A security deposit of 300€ is required on arrival, payable in cash.
The minimum stay is 07 nights.
Final details for check-in and driving instructions to the property will be sent 7 days prior to arrival. A contact number will be provided, and to be able to access the property, you need to phone this number as you are leaving the airport. It is your responsibility to contact and advise the number provided on the check-in details to advise any delays to the expected check-in time.
Check-in times - at the property - are between 16H00 and 19H00. For Sunday arrivals and out of hours check-in, alternative arrangements will be made and an additional cost will apply.
Check-in and check-out flexibility will be applied where possible, but this will depend on housekeeping schedules and the departure and arrival days of other reservations either side of your stay; a definitive answer can only be provided within 24 hours of your arrival for check-in and your departure for check-out.

The payment of a Tourist Tax has been implemented for all arriving visitors on or after 01 October 2024 across all of Madeira and Porto Santo by the local Municipalities.
This applies to all visitors to Madeira aged 13 or over, and costs 2€ per person per day up to a maximum of 14€ per person.
Your accommodation is responsible for collecting these amounts and paying them on your behalf to the applicable municipality.
