Swimming pool heating:
Heating is optional and costs,175,00€ per week for 24ºC, paid in cash on arrival.
A supplement of 35,00€ per week applies for each additional degree up to a maximum of 26ºC.
Pool heating can be provided and should be requested at least one week in advance. Should it be requested after arrival at the villa, the minimum charge applicable is one week, which is payable from the time the heating is turned on.

Cleaning
The property is prepared for your arrival. For stays of longer than 7 nights, a change of linen and towels, and light mid-stay cleaning of bathrooms is provided on a day and time to be advised at check-in.
All linen and towels are provided, including towels for the swimming pool.
For health reasons, linen for a baby cot is not provided and you should bring your own.
Guests need to vacate the villa during a mid-stay clean and change of linen.

Calheta Beach and Marina are a 5 minute drive. Two golden sandy beaches for local safe swimming, a good selection of restaurants and bars and a well stocked supermarket. Boat Charters for dolphin, whale watching and coastal cruising. Deep sea fishing boats for charter for marlin fishing. A five minute drive takes you to the famous Casa Mudas Art Centre with year round exhibitions and a traditional sugar cane factory, one of only two left operating on the island. You can tour the factory and sample the locally made famous poncha.
The capital Funchal is a 30 minute car journey and the drive to the airport takes around 45 minutes.

Booking Notes
The advertised prices are generally based on a 4 person occupancy, and supplements apply should any additional people join you.
To secure your reservation we require a 30% deposit and the balance is due 8 weeks prior to your arrival.
Final details for check-in and driving instructions to the property will be sent 7 days prior to arrival. A contact number will be provided, and to be able to access the property, you need to phone this number as you are leaving the airport. It is your responsibility to contact and advise the number provided on the check-in details to advise any delays to the expected check-in time.
Check-in times - at the property - are between 16H00 and 19H00. For Sunday arrivals and out of hours check-in, alternative arrangements will be made and an additional cost will apply.
Check-in and check-out flexibility will be applied where possible, but this will depend on housekeeping schedules and the departure and arrival days of other reservations either side of your stay; a definitive answer can only be provided within 24 hours of your arrival for check-in and your departure for check-out.
A security deposit of 300€ is required by credit card prior to check-in.

FOR THOSE HIRING A CAR IF YOU HAVE RESERVED A CAR THROUGH USAs you have reserved your car hire through us, a representative of the car hire company will be waiting for you at the airport.Outside the arrival's hall, you will see a meeting point, please look for the car hire representative carrying a board displaying their name ATLANTIC RENT A CAR. You will be taken to collect the car, sign the documents and pay the rental value. If you do not see them immediately please allow 10 minutes (especially if your flight has arrived ahead of schedule), as the representative may well be transporting another customer. This is a quick process and does not involve wasting time queuing at the car hire desks.
