This is a beautiful property in an INCREDIBLE location. Walking distance to Puerto Viejo, ocean view. We saw a sloth across the street! My son saw a peccary in the yard! It is breathtaking. It is expensive but thatâs whatâs happening in Costa Rica for U.S. citizens and our failing currency. The host is kind/responsive. I would stay here again. There are some points I feel should be mentioned that arenât in the listing. 1st off this rental is on a property that guests will be sharing with a family. There is a house on the property. The residents are kind and wonât bother you but I feel that knowledge should be available in case one was counting on seclusion. I also feel it should be noted that while the host is particular about keeping the gates closed (which I appreciate) there are massive holes in the fence. As I said above, my son saw a peccaryâ it ran into the yard and ran out. Luckily no people wandered in during our visit.For families hoping to make use of the bunkbed Iâd note thereâs no railing on the top bunk. So unless your kiddo sleeps without rolling it is not usable.Iâve seen mixed info on the pool that Iâd like to clear up. Yes the pool is small. No it is not dirty. it is perfectly fine, your kids will love it. The yard is heavily covered in greenery and thereâs no poolboy. Use the net. Also a warning that it can be loud at night, especially on weekend nights. Racing and revelry on the calle. Part of the experience! The air conditioner works great
