Charmant chalet Lake Barkley

Cabine de charme juste en face de la rue du lac Barkley. Beau terrain boisĂ© avec grande terrasse nichĂ© dans les bois. Cuisine entiĂšrement Ă©quipĂ©e et barbecue au charbon de bois. Environ 1 mile de Linton Bay Recreation Area & rampe de bateau et 14 miles de Lake Barkley State Park et Marina. IdĂ©al pour les escapades en famille ou entre amis ou les sorties de pĂȘche. PrĂšs du lac et de la zone de loisirs de Linton Bay. Notre maison est assez Ă©loignĂ©e pour se sentir comme si vous Ă©tiez loin de tout cela, mais c'est juste une courte distance en voiture de la charmante ville de Cadix, KY. Cadix a une Ă©picerie, un cafĂ© / cafĂ©, plusieurs restaurants, d'excellentes boutiques d'antiquitĂ©s / cadeaux et le magnifique parc d'État et marina de Lake Barkley. NichĂ© dans les arbres pour une intimitĂ© ultime notre maison offre 2 chambres avec un lit double dans une chambre et un lit double sur deux lits superposĂ©s dans l'autre, laveuse et sĂ©cheuse, lecteur DVD dans le den et une des chambres. Grande terrasse avec table Ă  manger et des chaises et de nombreux siĂšges. Vraiment une escapade paisible!

Cabin was AWESOME!!

Hello, My son (Donnie Freeman) rented this for me (his Mom ,68 yrs old),my husband (69 yrs old), my brother , (74 yrs old) and his grand-daughter (10 yrs old) The cabin was great! We just loved it the quiet, the peacefulness, It was great. No wifi was a bonus. EVERY time we was looking for something we forgot, WE Found it to be there. It was amazing. The only thing is, that the photo of the cabin , looks like it is on flat ground. We were 3 elderly people and a 10 yr old child. I fell down the hill on the first day. I'm okay but I was a little sore. I think you should make it clear that there is a Steep hill that you have to go down and up. Anyways it was great , thank you. Carol Illig P.S. My brother has been having HIGH blood pressure , (198/130) but after this trip it was 130/80 which was great .His doctor was so happy..

Nice cabin off the beaten path

Great cabin in a very quiet area off the beaten path. We had everything we needed and enjoyed hanging out on the deck. No WiFi or cell service, which was actually really nice. Restaurants are a bit of a drive.

Great weekend getaway!

We really enjoyed our stay! Cabin was fully equipped with everything we needed. Super close to the Linton Bay Recreation Area/boat ramp. Lots of games for the kiddos. Only wish we had more time to stay!

Poor conditions needs cleaned and updated.

Musty smell, not inviting and very damp. We locked up and left without staying one night. Not suitable for anyone with asthma and definitely no attention to detail to make the place inviting. Not at all what we have experienced before with VRBO.

Relaxing Getaway

This cabin is very private, which is what we were looking for, but be aware you may be driving a lot if you are visiting local attractions. This cabin is the best equipped place I have rented. Due to safety precautions we brought our own meals from Hello Fresh and the kitchen allowed us to prepare them, it even had a zester! The deck overlooking a wooded lot is very relaxing and quiet. The cabin was very clean. The bed was a little soft for my back but after hiking for much of the day, I slept well. We needed to get away from all the craziness and this place was perfect. We did watch a little TV but without internet, being away from our devices was great!

Away from the crowds

What a really great place. Being in Linton, new were out of the mainstream up North, and though only 15 miles. it seemed like a world away. It was SO QUIET, except when the night critters started up.The back deck looks out on the woods and is partially covered do that when it rains, you can still hang out. The kitchen and pantry were well equipped and stocked, and this may not matter to anyone, but it does to me; it is the first place I have stayed that had sharp knives. We look to socially isolate on vacation, Covid19 or not, and this is the placebo do it.

Anniversary Getaway

Cozy cabin with an outdoor shelter and FirePit. The cabin had everything we needed for cooking and resting. The back deck is surrounded by mature trees making you feel like you’re in the Smokies not at the lake. The sound of nature was both peaceful and enjoyable. We will definitely go back.

Nice little cabin

It was a nice little cabin. Everything you need, not really near the water though. There was a mixup with the cleaning staff that almost cost us extra from our deposit. They claimed we dumped all clean and dirty linens and this made them wash a total of 5 loads of laundry. Not true at all. However Carmen was gracious enough to refund the full amount anyway. Thanks Carmen! I would recommend this one for peace, quiet and disconnect from technology.

Very peaceful deck facing woods, near new couch, recliner very comfy. Very charming cabin with beautiful wood floors, rustic fireplace, well equipped kitchen. Location was perfect for us. Really enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful place to unplug from technology

Sweet little cabin in the woods. Movies and games for rainy days. Nice and cool shady back porch to hang out. Huge fire pit for family time and smores! Had a great time!

Peaceful and Wonderful

This cottage is so cute and homey. The back deck looks out over the trees and is so private. I loved staying here, and enjoyed the privacy. There are so many amenities and the house is wonderfully stocked with items I have never found in other places. I couldn't believe how much was available for your renters to use. Everything from face creams to olive oil. I would not have had to bring anything except my own food. A lot of DVDs available which we watched every day. Thanks so much for a lovely stay.

cozy, beautiful retreat!

What a welcoming facility, with everything (almost) we needed for a great girl weekend! Loved the deck, the fire pit, and all the wonderful welcoming touches. It's everything described, and more! The only kink in the chain, we couldn't find a toaster, but used the broiler to toast our bagels - and that was fine. Loved playing games in the quiet of the woods, and the escape from electronic life was a welcome respite. We would love to return!

Great Getaway

Loved the cabin. Close enough to Lake Barkley and LBL for boating and fishing activities. Not far from Hopkinsville if you want to get dinner or shop for antiques. The cabin is very cozy and feels like home. The back deck is totally isolated from any neighboring cabins. The lock box was a little hard to find (it's in the back of the house, on the back side of the chimney). We really enjoyed our weekend.

VERY NICE CABIN.NOT ON THE LAKE THOUGH. COULD NOT UNPACK, THE DRESSER WAS FULL OF CLOTHES. OTHER THAN THAT, VERY NICE PLACE TO STAY.
