Amazing house!

Beautiful house in perfect location. Property manger very responsive. Private staff was very sweet and efficient. The breakfast made was delicious. Golf cart was great addition. Stay here!

Great House in Conchal

Casa Seashell is a great rental in the Reserva Conchal property. The house is very spacious, very clean, and well appointed. The pool and grounds are also very nice.The housekeeper and gardener are there every day except Sundays and holidays. They will essentially take care of the house during your stay, and keep things very clean. They are very kind and helpful.The beach club and golf pro shop are 2 minutes by golf cart. There is a restaurant at the beach club as well. Note that you can not walk to the beach club, you must use the golf cart. Or drive a car around. If you have more than a party of 4, you might want to rent a second golf cart. I would also suggest renting a car for making a quick grocery run. We drove to Tamarindo a few nights for dinner, and had no issues.Renzo, the house manager can help you coordinate other activities or answer any question in general.Casa Seashell is great choice in this area.

Beautiful property, great location. Definitely recommend a car for this property. That said, golf cart supplied was great and the Beach & Golf Club literally a 1-2 minute ride away with cart path entry at the edge of the driveway.House is made for larger entertaining, so we did our best with our own family happy hours.Property manager was easy to communicate with and responsive. Carol, the on site support was just delightful. She made us an amazing Costa Rican breakfast and kept the property spotless.

Would never use these people again!

Host was not easy to work with. Still owe me money. Double booked the room and it’s still in my VRBO to attempt to maintain a good rating and hold portion of the first payment/deposit. I had to book another place a week and a half before my trip that I had multiple others joining me on my stay.

Beautiful Home, Horrible Management

Pros: The house is incredibly clean, beautiful furniture and lovely space for a family. The pool is very nice and usually kept clean (we had to clean it ourselves several times when the pool attendant didn't show up). Our housekeeper was very kind and went out of her way to clean up after our family of 8. She made a lovely breakfast everyday and kept us well supplied with clean bath and beach towels. Lovely, covered patio, but would be better if it had ceiling fans as the temperature in Feb. was often 95 degrees. Golf cart was great. Cons: Our biggest problem was communicating with management. We have rented several large homes through VRBO and communication has never been an issue. The concierge service that is advertised is pretty non-existent. Initially, the email communication provided ample excursion opportunities. However, we could not get answers to questions about excursions, times available and how to sign up. We were also hoping to have the house stocked with food upon arrival and a rental car, that request also went unanswered. There are phone numbers listed to call for the management, but those were always unanswered and/or disconnected. There is a lovely grill, but the propane was empty and requests for another propane tank also went unanswered. Finally, a word of warning, the patio is extremely slippery when you get out of the pool and walk on the patio. We had four family members fall. Took over a month to get our security deposit back.

Casa Seashell Shines

Great property location to the golf course, the beach and beach club amenities. The home is accommodating, spacious and has a beautiful outdoor living space. The golf cart was a HUGE bonus to getting around the community. The elite services included with this home are great and really contributed to us having a wonderful stay.

Thanksgiving in Costa Rica

We had a wonderful week at Casa Seashell. The house is simply amazing -- first class all the way -- and the staff (Lorena and Diego) were extremely helpful and very pleasant. And the Beach Club and golf course are awesome. We can't wait to return and have already reserved Casa Seashell for a week in July!
