En face de la plage dans le luxueux Palm Beach Estates de Playa Grande, cette maison de quatre chambres est nichée sur un grand terrain paysager avec une piscine à l'avant et la réserve naturelle à l'arrière. Il y a un nouveau patio couvert dans les arbres au-dessus du garage pour 2 voitures. Si vous avez de la chance, vous verrez des singes hurleurs à partir de là ou au retour du coucher du soleil sur la plage isolée - et plusieurs des meilleurs restaurants et bars haut de gamme de Guanacaste ne sont qu'à quelques pâtés de maisons.

La maison principale dispose de 3 chambres et 2 salles de bain complètes ainsi qu'une maison d'hôtes semi-attenante avec une chambre / salle de bain complète. Toutes les chambres sont équipées de lits queen size et de lits superposés, de la climatisation et de ventilateurs de plafond. La chambre principale a un lit King
Deux autres chambres ont un lit QUEEN et un lit superposé dans chacune.
Le semi-attaché a un lit queen et un lit superposé.

La cuisine est entièrement équipée, y compris un grand réfrigérateur avec machine à glaçons. The house and location was amazing! We had a private chef come in and grill one for us and that was the best meal of the trip. All of the other restaurants food was top tier as well. 10/10 would stay here again if we come back to playa grande. Shawna was very helpful and answered all of our questions.

We had a great stay in your beach house. The beach is close and we enjoyed the little community. We also really appreciated the beach wagon, boogie boards and beach chairs. The outside patio that was surrounded in screens was also great. The air conditioner in the room with the king size bed was far too loud and the guests in that room could not sleep. it would be great if some of the furniture could be updated/more comfortable. Overall it was a great stay and we would recommend your place.

We loved the charm of this property and we appreciated having three comfortable bedrooms with three full bathrooms. The fully equipped kitchen served us well and we took advantage of being able to do laundry on site. The pool and patio were well used and being a short walk from the beach was an added bonus. Shawna is an excellent property manager and the area is safe. We would not hesitate to stay there again!

We had a wonderful month long stay at Casa Kalumina. The house was very comfortable for 4 adults and four kids. The pool was large and perfect for kids. The house is very close to the beach and we really appreciated all the beach toys, wagon, tent, boogie boards, and beach chairs. Shawna was a great property manager who was very responsive and took care of multiple transport bookings for us.

We had an excellent time! The house was perfect for us! Loved that there were two suites with attached bathrooms. Kitchen was well stocked, and there were lots of beach towels. Pool was great and offered both sun and shade areas. Grounds were beautiful and our favorite spot was the screened patio area. Felt very safe in the area. Shawna was a gem and so helpful answering our questions and arranging our transfers and also a golf cart rental for us! Proximity to the beach was awesome and the beach itself was probably the nicest I’ve ever been to! Perfect for long walks without tons of people. Beautiful sunsets. There are four restaurants within walking distance and several other options if you have a vehicle. If you want a peaceful, quiet stay (albeit for a bit of construction in the area which obviously is not the fault of the management company) this is the place for you!

Beautiful property that was perfect for our stay. It’s an easy walk to the beach or restaurant. The sunset views, awesome waves, animals/birds, fruits will be bringing us back soon. The beds were comfortable, A/C was cold, full kitchen, and grill made it easy to prepare meals during our visit. The outdoor shower was great to wash off the excess sand and screened in patio were a definite plus.

Playa Grande family retreat

Enjoyed a wonderful beach vacation with a very short walk to the beach. Cafe Mar de Azul is next door and provides a convenient location to eat. Howler monkeys were seen and the pool was well maintained. Highlights of the trip were taking the water taxi to Tamarindo and enjoying a sunset cruise on Playa Flamingo. All in all I highly recommend!

Family Vacation

We had a great time staying at Casa Lumina in Palm Beach Estate at Playa Grande!Great communication with Shawna the property manager who arranged our airport transfers and local rental car too.Short walk to the beach access, water taxi to Tamarindo, local restaurants are all highlights of staying here. The property pool is refreshing and the grounds are well maintained. We enjoyed the screened porch, and the kitchen is well equipped with everything you need. One of our best visits ever to Playa Grande!

House was perfect for our group. Three wonderful restaurants within walking distance. Beach was perfect. The only reason I did not give 5 stars in everything was because of access road. I was expecting bad….but it was horrible.We had a great time!

Great amount of space for two families! Property manager was super helpful and answered every question and set us up with transportation and excursions. Beach was super close and the pool was delightful to retreat back to. Several nice restaurants nearby and a small minimart with essentials. We had a wonderful stay!

It was so perfect. Everyone loves staying here. We will recommend to our friends and it is definitely our new favorite place in the Tamarindo area. We love to eating on the screened in back porch, and the barbecue and flat grill was perfect. Amazing murals & all the rooms/bathrooms were better than advertised. Large stocked kitchen. We had 8 adults & one small child & everyone hated to leave.

Great Spot for families

We stayed here with friends and family ages ranging from 2-14 and loved our time here. The screened in outdoor patio was great and there was a nice large table and grill. The pool was a bit smaller than what we thought, but was still enjoyed. The beach was walking distance and the sunsets are UNBELEIVABLE. We loved our stay here!

This home is in a very quiet neighborhood with a 4 minute walk to the beach. We enjoyed watching the surfers on the water. Owners are super sweet and available if needed. I would definitely come back to this home.

Lovely beach escape

Wonderful stay at this lovely property. It’s a short walk from the beach and has several food options/restaurants within walking distance as well. Several options to rent beach gear (including surfboards) also within walking distance. Shawna was exceptionally responsive, and she helped us book a wonderful horseback ride on another local beach. The pool was a nice break from the beach, and there was a lot of room for hanging out and relaxing at the end of the day. If you’re looking for a nice beach trip, this is a great choice to experience the Pura Vida culture of Costa Rica.

Our stay at Casa Kalumina with our children and grandchild was wonderful. The environment was very comfortable and the kitchen had everything needed to cook, including some spices. Our hosts were very responsive with any issue and suggestions. The large screened porch with a grill and large table for eating was an essential bonus for us as we spent much of our time there. The pool was perfect at the end of the day and the grounds are beautiful and well kept.The beach was a quick 5 minute walk and chairs were provided at the casa. We ate often at Cafe Mar Azul, a small outdoor restaurant with great food and a childrens menu and play area. We would highly recommend this property.

Peaceful Oasis On The Beach

Loved the place! Loved the Neighborhood! Loved the Beach! This was a wonderful quiet little spot just steps from gorgeous Playa Grande. If you want the hustle and bustle of Tamarindo it's only a quick water taxi away but feels like another world here. Plenty of great places to eat and drink and things to do just steps away but secluded and peaceful if you just want to soak in the pool on a hot day. Catch the extraordinary sunset on the beach and then treat yourself to a fresh fat tuna steak at Cafe Mar Azul! A perfect day!
