Awesome place for family and kids

We stayed there with our extended family of nine people including three kids under the age of 7 and everyone loved it, especially the kids. The pool was a huge hit with the little ones. Perfect for lots of different families to come together and have an extended family vacation in a really safe neighborhood

We had my bachelorette party here and it was an excellent villa for 10 people. The property is huge and gorgeous. The yard is super lush and we loved using the pool! Cindi, and her team with Adelita and Zain, were able to help us with anything; we set up a chef dinner at the house, we were able to organize shuttles to and from the airport, and they even stopped at the store for us. Zain responded to us at all hours with whatever we needed help with! It's also only about 15 minutes from downtown Cabo, so an easy drive, but nice and quiet. The only real issue we had trouble getting hot water for some of our showers. Also, you can't heat the pool and the hot tub at the same time. But these were minor, and we loved our stay. I hope we have an opportunity to go back some day!

Had a bachelor trip down for some golf and fishing and this was the perfect location to do it all! House was exactly as advertised, and we purchased some additional services that Cindi offered that was icing on the cake. If I ever head back down this way, I know who to call.

Bachelorette Party

We had a fantastic stay at Villa Elegante. The communication with Cindi was excellent, and she helped us coordinate some extra events at the house, including a chef one night. The property manager, Adelita, was very responsive to any questions or communications that we had. The pool and hot tub were the most amazing part of this home! We would absolutely return and stay with Cindi again

Cindi was very communicative and suggested places to eat places to go. We had a problem with the Garburetter and there was somebody there that day to fix it. This is a very big home and can accommodate a family of 10 comfortably

June 2024 - Cabo with the family

The villa was a great fit for our family vacation (nine adults and three kids under 4 year old). The host / concierge was great, responsive – example - arranged introduction massages for the travel weary on arrival, providing contacts for taxi, deliveries etc.. etc.. The pool was very nice, along with the outdoor kitchen - the center of our activities with the kids. We did the inhouse – chef-in for one of the family dinners, which was very well done, and recommended if you had a busy day and then sit down to a great meal. The house was a good fit for our needs, found to be in good condition, exceeded our expectations, freshy repainted etc
 the host next planned upgrade is to modernize the kitchen cabinets. Good location with easy access to Cabo San Lucas and San Jose Del Cabo and all the associated beaches. / activities. We would definitely rebook this VRBO if coming back to this area of Mexico.

Family and Friends Vacation

What a find! The pictures of this home do not do it justice. Every detail is exquisite. This was the perfect home to gather family and friends. The large and spaced-apart bedrooms allowed for privacy. Yet the outdoor and interior living areas were perfect for sharing and enjoying the beautiful surroundings and each other. The owner was very helpful with any questions we had and provided a detailed book of all the amenities and offerings of the home and the Cabo area. We enjoyed having Aggy, a personal friend of the owner, come and fix us a delicious feast in the outdoor kitchen. We loved his company as much as his food. This home is perfect for friends and couples who want to get away to relax and enjoy each other's company or for families who aren't able to get together often enough and need a place to reconnect and remember how much fun they can have together.

Seemed like it hadn’t been rented in some time


Communication with the owner was very challenging. Emails disappeared (apparently deleted by a child?), redundant questions and conflicting information came through various emails. The host aoffered supplemental services for us (grocery shopping in advance, booking of massages, transport, etc) and then got frustrated bc she had to coordinate those things. The local house manager was supposed to meet us upon arrival, but showed up late and then rushed through a cursory orientation, seemingly before heading to her next appt. They had promised maintenance would come by to change a flickering bulb, but that never happened. All the bedrooms had exterior patio doors that didn’t lock, and one of the internal doors was missing a lock, and had paper towel stuffed into the hole. Dishes and glassware were dusty and dirty, and the house smelled like it had been closed up for a number of months. The community is lovely and the gate staff made us feel very secure, which was the only reason we were comfortable sleeping in unlocked rooms. The pool and backyard were great for hanging out and entertaining.

All the girls loved it here, rooms were well spaced everyone had a small slice of heaven in each room the property was AMAZING. Outside area is perfecting for entertaining we all had a blast and Cindi was super easy going and had everything ready for our arrival.

Great place, great times

We splurged and had a bartender and a chef come in for a few days which turned out to be fantastic, speaking as the guy who usually does a good share of the cooking for the group when we travel together. A few things were not what we expected, but we either didn't care, or we did and we called the property manager and they were taken care of right away. Everyone was very attentive to our needs and concerned about us enjoying our vacation.

Fantastic weekend!

My friends and I had an absolutely wonderful time at the house. Cindi was incredibly helpful and super fast to respond to my emails. She made sure we had the house fully stocked with food prior to our arrival and arranged for transportation from the airport. Once we arrived, Claudio was always available to help with whatever we needed, including booking us fantastic massages and also arranging transportation for our group. The house itself is excellent and has all the amenities you could ask for. The location is an easy car ride to both Cabo San Lucas and San Jose del Cabo so you get the best of both. I would 100% stay here again!

Fun in the Sun!

This was our 10th time to stay in Cabo. Our group was friends, family and 2 grand-children. There was something for everyone and the spacious Villa de Elegante' in the gated Santa Carmela did not disappoint. Santa Carmela was a very clean housing development with a guest's 'club house' and pool at the very end, by the Sea of Cortez. Our group used this facility one day, complete with a gas grill, frig and sink/counter area. Beautiful view/sound of the waves crashing below us. The bedrooms were spacious and ensuite. We like to cook some meals in and the kitchen was supplied with all the utensils we needed. The outdoor area is where we spent most of our time, while at the villa. We enjoyed the pool, especially the kids. Shaded areas for those who like less sun. As usual, it was hard to leave but we do plan to returning this fall. Cindi/ the owner, was helpful prior to the trip answering any questions we had and helping arrange activities in Cabo, if needed. Only downside is that we had to leave......

Fantastic villa and location

We had a fantastic stay at Villa de Elegante. This house is huge (looks exactly as shown in the pics) and is in a great location. Although there were only 6 of us, it was a lovely space to get the rest and relaxation we needed. Every detail was considered and Adelita, our concierge, was very responsive and knowledgeable about the property and tourism in the area. I especially liked the additional services we were able to select, such as massages at the property and a priivate chef - all for very reasonable rates. We would definitely stay here again - next time I’ll bring more people with me.

A WONDERFUL VILLA FOR OUR FAMILY

For our family of four adult couples and four children attending the wedding in Cabo of our youngest daughter, we were treated to a terrific experience at Villa de Elegante. On the day we arrived the two property managers could not have been more helpful and gracious in welcoming us and showing the Villa. From the bath house at the point to the pool, the spa, the outdoor kitchen and lounging areas at the Villa, the comfortable accommodations, we loved it all. The owner, Cindi was extremely helpful in assuring our family had a very memorable stay at Villa de Elegante, a truly beautiful spot. It has our highest recommendation.

Probably could use all 2500 characters here, but will spare you. We just finished a stay with 3 families totaling 12 people. The property is truly awesome. It is well kept and maintained, well stocked with stuff, and is extremely spacious. Many areas to get away from the rest of the group for your own thing :) Area is safe and close to anything you may want to get to or want to do, although taxis are expensive. They charge $5 per person regardless of distance, imagine paying $60 to move 12 people 5 miles. Try your best to negotiate down. We ordered delivery one night, stocked up at Costo and made multiple walking trips Santa Camela a small store across the street for the others. This a great value for a vacation if you don't want to do the resort thing and none of us would hesitate to book this home again if we get back to the Cabo area.

Amazing!

Our vacation at the Santa Carmela Villa was fantastic in every way and absolutely perfect for our large group of friends. We still can’t believe we landed such an amazing property. The location is ideal, very close to Cabo San Lucas and to a few beaches. You can also walk to a beach at the end of the complex to see the sunset. The property was both cozy and beachy. Some days, even though we planned to, we didn’t even leave because we were having so much fun lounging in the backyard and swimming in the beautiful pool. We took advantage of the advance grocery shopping and greatly appreciated the service. Overall fantastic property and we would love to stay here again if we return to Cabo, highly recommend!

Everything and more could have expected.

This is a beautiful, safe and well maintained property. I was so impressed with all the "comforts of home", yet the flair and fun of Cabo San Lucas. Close to town, a lovely close walk to the beach and even a 90 minute massage in my bedroom. Wow! I will return to this lovely home.

Great house in a great locations!

The house is great but, the outdoor space sets it apart from a lot of other places. Plenty of room to relax outside with the pool and cabanas. I would definitely stay here again!

IT WAS A BLAST!

The house is beautiful and spacious. Kept the doors closed and with the AC and that kept all the cool air in during August! It was convienent and private. I will be coming back!

Great house!

Went with three families, kids ranging in age from 1-11. The pool and hot tub were perfect for all age groups, especially kids just learning to swim. Property is well landscaped and beautiful. We had a wonderful time and Cindi was very attentive if anything came up.

Excellent Property

I'll mimic other reviewers with how great this property is! Easy to walk to beach for sunsets (not for swimming), easy to walk to market to reload supplies and easy to take taxi to town or the other beautiful beaches. Staff was amazing and property itself is truly beautiful! Only downfall for me was we apparently went over the $300 max utility limit set in the rental agreement, which I assume was the hot tub and pool. Not sure how we would have been able to track that in our stay, so the usage was deducted from our security deposit, which surprised me. Not a big deal since we had 8 people to help cover, but again not sure how we would have tracked this as we used the utilities as we normally would (nothing excessive). Cindi was great though in all communication and arranging transportation for us. Would definitely stay again!

Santa Carmella WOW!

Go for the gold; this villa is the best! Met all expectations for three families in comfort, cleanliness, privacy, and style. Pool and spa functioning and clean (shallow bathing areas great for non swimmers), outdoor BBQ and bar set up is nicely designed and executed. We were all music lovers, and could customize the zones that had music or volume. Good times! Cannot say enough great things about the development. We walked to the well maintained and underused tennis courts and played singles and doubles every day (nothing like seeing a couple have a blast and rekindle on the court). Finish the court sport with a short walk to the development pool . . . and be prepared to be stunned! The pool and its siting will blow your mind and exceed all expectations with the sunset view of the cape, and the anchorage of the city, the perch over the tide pool . . . magic. Watch the ocean for two minutes, and you will be guaranteed of seeing a whale blow or surface from the built-in bench of the pool (we were there in February). Need more? Service was the best! Cindi knows the Cabo, and will make it easy for you to make the stay a great memory. Her property management was attentive, sophisticated, and unobtrusive. Boom, taken care of. Location in relationship to Cabo was great. We don't like renting cars for three families, and cabs are pricey. Bus route to town, stops right in front of Santa Carmella. Shopping experience at the market across the street was great. Great selection of produce, meat counter, organic and GF foods. So if you don't want to go anywhere during your stay in Cabo, you don't have to (and you may not want to, because the villa is so awesome). We'll be back for sure . . . .
